वो भी एक जमाना था, जब पूर्वजों को काम के बदले में।
ये कैसा जमाना आया

वो भी एक जमाना था
जब पूर्वजों को काम के बदले में
अनाज लेते देखा था हमने
हाथ, वेथ, चपटी चार अंगुली
यही नाप का पेमाना था उनका
सुख चैन के साथ पुरा परिवार था
रुपया पैसा कम था पर सुख से
वे सब लोग थे निहाल
आज रुपया पैसा आया है जरुर
पर हम सब है बेहाल
एक वो भी जमाना था
आज यह भी एक जमाना है
पहले मिट्टी के घर हुआ करते थे
कितने ठन्डे रहते थे
सुख दुख का समय एक साथ
सब मिलकर गुजारा करते थे
अब पक्का मकान तो आया है
पंखे, ऐ. सी. सबने लगाया है
कार है, बंगला है, नोकर है
फिर भी तरसे हम शुकुन को
पैर फिसल फिसल जाएं
पूर्वजों के संग मर्मर फर्श पर
ये कैसा दुख मोल लिया
ये घर नही, दुख को तोल लिया

गरीबी में जो सुख-चैन था
अब वो दूर दूर नजर आता नही
श्रीमंती में है सब बै-चैन
रुपयों ने सबकों मशीनमॅन बना दिया
रुपयों ने सबको अजनबी
जरुर बना दिया अनजाना
माया का खेल अजब है मेरे भाई
रुपयों ने सबको प्रवासी बना दिया
होली दीवाली सबसे मिलते रहना
इसी में जिन्दगी का सार है
एक वो भी जमाना था
आज ये भी एक जमाना है……
