यूपी चुनाव 2022 : पूर्व आईपीएस अधिकारी असीम अरुण राज्य चुनावों से पहले भाजपा में हुए शामिल

नई दिल्ली: यूपी विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले पूर्व आईपीएस अधिकारी असीम अरुण भारतीय जनता पार्टी में शामिल हो गए हैं। भाजपा ने हाल ही में 10 और 14 फरवरी को पहले दो चरणों के चुनाव के लिए 107 उम्मीदवारों की अपनी पहली सूची जारी की है। लखनऊ में केंद्रीय मंत्री अनुराग ठाकुर ने पूर्व अधिकारी का पार्टी में स्वागत किया।
आसिम अरुण का पार्टी में स्वागत करते हुए अनुराग ठाकुर ने कहा, “एक अनुभवी, ईमानदार और युवाओं के लिए आदर्श व्यक्ति आज भाजपा में शामिल हो रहा है। मैं असीम अरुण का स्वागत करता हूं। भाजपा अपने अनुभव के साथ आगे बढ़ेगी और उनके जैसे और भी युवा शामिल होंगे।
चुनाव से कुछ हफ्ते पहले कई विधायकों के इस्तीफे की कतार के बीच इसे भाजपा के लिए राहत के रूप में देखा जा सकता है। पार्टी में शामिल होते हुए असीम अरुण ने कहा, ‘मैं खुश हूं, संतुष्ट हूं, मुझे जनता की सेवा करने का मौका मिला है. यह फैसला मेरे लिए आसान नहीं था क्योंकि एक तरफ नौकरी थी तो दूसरी तरफ जनसेवा का मौका था।
बीजेपी ने शनिवार को अपने उम्मीदवारों की पहली सूची जारी की और गोरखपुर शहर से यूपी के मौजूदा सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ को मैदान में उतारा. पीएम मोदी ने दिसंबर में गोरखपुर में एम्स गोरखपुर सहित कई परियोजनाओं की शुरुआत की थी।
पहले आदित्यनाथ के अयोध्या से चुनाव लड़ने की अटकलें लगाई जा रही थीं, लेकिन अब यह स्पष्ट हो गया है कि वह गोरखपुर से चुनाव लड़ेंगे। बीजेपी ने मौजूदा विधायकों को टिकट देने से इनकार कर दिया है और 21 नए चेहरों को टिकट दिया है. सीटों के बंटवारे को संतुलित करने के लिए पहले दो राउंड में महिलाओं को 10, ओबीसी को 44 और अनुसूचित जाति के उम्मीदवारों को 19 सीटें दी गई हैं।
विधानसभा की 403 सीटों के लिए सात चरणों में मतदान 10 फरवरी से शुरू होगा। अंतिम चरण में 3 मार्च को मतदान होगा।
