उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने बाद दोपहर सरल केन्द्र में कोविड आपदा को लेकर लोगों के सहयोग के लिए बनाए गए कंट्रोल रूम का औचक निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने कंट्रोल रूम में कार्य करने वाले सभी ऑपरेटरों, डॉक्टरों एवं नोडल अधिकारी से बातचीत करते हुए पूरी बारिकी से आंकलन किया।

सहायक आयुक्त (यूटी) सलोनी शर्मा ने उपायुक्त को विश्वास दिलाते हुए कहा कि कोविड आपदा के समय कंट्रोल रूम के नंबरों 1950, 0130-2221500 व 7494871950 पर आने वाली प्रत्येक कॉल पर अविलम्ब समाधान किया जा रहा है। कंट्रोल रूम में कुल 80 से अधिक कर्मचारी द्वारा तीन शिफ्टों में कार्य किया जा रहा है तथा अलग-अलग ऑपरेटरस को अलग-अलग ग्रुप में बाटकर प्रशिक्षित करके लगाया गया है ताकि आने वाली कॉल को संबंधित के डाटा बेस पर डालकर कॉल करने वाले से सीधी बात करवाई जा सके। उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि दिन में कई बार वे स्वयं भी कॉल कर कंट्रोल रूम की वस्तुस्थिति का जायजा लेती हैं।
उपायुक्त पूनिया ने इस मौके पर स्वयं भी कंट्रोल रूम के नंबर पर कॉल कर फीडबेक लेते हुए निर्देश दिए कि कंट्रोल रूम के नंबरों पर आने वाली कॉल का अलग-अलग कटेगरी में डाटा तैयार करें। जिससे लोगों की सहायता करने में आसानी रहेगी। इस मौके पर सीएमजीजीए प्रगुण अग्रवाल ने उपायुक्त को जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि अब तक टोल फ्री नंबरों पर कुल 6741 कॉल आ चुकी हैं जिनमें से 871 शिकायत ऑक्सीजन से संबंधित, 34 बेड से संबंधित, 03 टेली कंसुलटेशन से संबंधित, 25 कॉल टीकाकरण से संबंधित, 809 कॉल ऑक्सीजन सिलेंड भरने से संबंधित प्राप्त हुई।
