खटकर कलां/पंजाब/जीजेडी न्यूज: पंजाब विधानसभा चुनाव में आम आदमी पाटी की शानदार जीत के बाद भगवंत मान ने राज्य के 17वें मुख्यमंत्री के रूप में शपथ ली है। पंजाब के राज्यपाल बनवारीलाल पुरोहित ने शपथ ग्रहण समारोह कराया. मान ने स्वतंत्रता सेनानी भगत सिंह के पैतृक गांव खटकर कलां गांव में शपथ ली।

पुरुषों ने पीली पगड़ी पहन रखी थी जबकि महिलाएं पीले दुपट्टे में लिपटी हुई थीं। क्रांतिकारी कवि राम प्रसाद बिस्मिल द्वारा लिखे गए और भगत सिंह और उनके साथियों की भावना से जुड़े गीत ‘रंग दे बसंती’ के लिए पीला पंजाब में आप का रंग विषय है।

मोहाली में एक महिला समर्थक ने कहा, “मैं बहुत खुश हूं कि मेरा भाई (मान) मुख्यमंत्री बनने जा रहा है। हम इससे बहुत खुश हैं। 48 वर्षीय मान ने राज्य के लोगों को अपने शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में शामिल होने के लिए आमंत्रित करते हुए कहा था कि पंजाब के तीन करोड़ लोग भी उनके साथ शपथ लेंगे। समारोह के लिए सुरक्षा के पुख्ता इंतजाम किए गए थे और इस आयोजन के लिए महानिरीक्षक और वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षकों सहित कई वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को तैनात किया गया था। समारोह की सुरक्षा के लिए लगभग 8,000 से 10,000 सुरक्षा कर्मियों को तैनात किया गया था। आप ने 117 सदस्यीय पंजाब विधानसभा में कांग्रेस और शिअद-बसपा गठबंधन को पछाड़ते हुए 92 सीटों पर जीत हासिल की।
