पंजाब/जीजेडी न्यूज: कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी द्वारा चुनाव में पार्टी की शर्मनाक हार के बाद सभी पांच राज्यों के पीसीसी प्रमुख को अपने पद से इस्तीफा देने के लिए कहने के बाद, पार्टी के लिए पंजाब के राज्य प्रभारी नवजोत सिंह सिद्धू ने अपना इस्तीफा दे दिया है।

यह उन सभी पांच राज्यों में कांग्रेस की हार के बाद आया है जहां विधानसभा चुनाव हुए थे।
कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष सोनिया गांधी ने मंगलवार को उत्तर प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड, पंजाब, गोवा और मणिपुर इकाइयों के प्रमुखों से इस्तीफा देने के लिए कहा, क्योंकि इन राज्यों में विधानसभा चुनावों में पार्टी की हार के बाद पार्टी में जारी हंगामे के बीच।
पार्टी के मुख्य प्रवक्ता रणदीप सुरजेवाला ने ट्विटर पर कहा, “कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष श्रीमती सोनिया गांधी ने उत्तर प्रदेश, उत्तराखंड, पंजाब, गोवा और मणिपुर के पीसीसी अध्यक्षों से कहा है कि वे पीसीसी के पुनर्गठन की सुविधा के लिए अपना इस्तीफा दें।
सिद्धू, उत्तराखंड राज्य इकाई के प्रमुख गणेश गोदियाल और उनके मणिपुर समकक्ष एन लोकेन सिंह को विधानसभा चुनाव से पहले पीसीसी अध्यक्ष नियुक्त किया गया था।
उत्तर प्रदेश कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष अजय कुमार लल्लू ने भी मंगलवार को राज्य विधानसभा चुनाव में पार्टी की शर्मनाक हार की नैतिक जिम्मेदारी लेते हुए अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया।
सोनिया गांधी ने रविवार को एक बैठक करने के बाद पांच कांग्रेस पीसीसी प्रमुखों को हटा दिया, जहां सीडब्ल्यूसी ने राज्य विधानसभा चुनावों के नवीनतम दौर में पार्टी की हार के कारणों के बारे में विचार-विमर्श किया। कांग्रेस चार भाजपा शासित राज्यों को हथियाने में विफल रही और आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) से पंजाब हार गई।
