नवीनता एवं प्राचीनता के अद्भुत संगम, ऐतिहासिक शहर हैदराबाद को दक्षिणी भारत का कोहिनूर कहा जाये तो अतिशयोक्ति न होगी। अनेक पुरातात्विक धरोहरों, कई विश्व प्रसिद्व बहुराष्ट्रीय कम्पनियों, विश्व प्रसिद्व संग्रहालयों व सरोवरों को अपने आंचल में समेटे यह खूबसूरत शहर विश्वभर के पर्यटकों को लुभाता है। सभी को अपनेपन का अद्भुत एहसास कराता यह शहर अपने भव्य स्मारकों व अनूठे खाद्य वैविध्य के कारण देश के सभी क्षेत्रों के लोगों को समान रूप से लुभाता है। हैदराबाद, सन्म 1591 में गोलकुंडा के कविहृदय सुल्तान मोहम्मद कुली कुतुबशाह द्वारा बसाया गया था। ओरंगजेब (1687) एवं आसफशाह प्रथम (1724) ने भी हैदराबाद पर शासन किया। आसफशाह के उत्तराधिकारियों ने लम्बे समय तक राज्य किया। वे निजाम कहलाये। स्थापना से लेकर आज तक इस शहर ने अनेक उतार-चढ़ाव देखे हैं।
हमने वायु मार्ग से जाने का निर्णय लिया। इंदिरा गांधी हवाई अड्डे के टर्मिनल तीन से जेट एयरवेज के विमान से लगभग दो घंटे की उड़ान के बाद हम जनवरी माह में दिल्ली की कड़कड़ाती सर्दी से निजात पाकर हैदराबाद के राजीव गांधी अंतरराष्ट्रीय हवाई अड्डे पर जा उतरे। हैदराबाद शहर से 25 किलोमीटर दूर शम्शाबाद में 5495 एकड़ के विस्तृत क्षेत्र में फैले इस हवाई अड्डे की क्षमता एक करोड 20 लाख यात्रियों के वार्षिक आवागमन को वहन करने की है। आधुनिक सुविधाओं से सुसज्जित यह हवाई अड्डा भारत ही नहीं, विश्व के सुन्दरतम हवाई अड्डों में से एक है। जिस लगभग 12 किलोमीटर लम्बे ऐलीवेटेड मार्ग पर हमारी टैक्सी दौड़ रही थी वह इंजीनियरिग का बेजोड़ नमूना है। हवाई अड्डे से शहर के बीचोंबीच तक गया यह ऐलीवेटेड मार्ग भारत में सबसे लम्बा ऐसा मार्ग है।
गोलकुंडा किला
हैदराबाद में ऐतिहासिक स्मारकों, भव्य अतीत की कहानी कहते भग्नावशेषों, सूचना क्रांति व बायो-टैक्नॉलोजी व भू-भौतिकी के विश्व प्रसिद्व संस्थानों सहित अनेक दर्शनीय स्थल विद्यमान हैं। सबसे पहले हमारा कार्यक्रम गोलकुंडा के किले को देखने का बना। हैदराबाद शहर के पश्चिम में लगभग 11 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित ग्रेनाइट की पहाडियों पर ग्रेनाइट पत्थर से निर्मित गोलकुंडा किला व इसके भग्नावशेषों को देखकर मन इसके गौरवशाली अतीत के प्रति नतमस्तक हो गया। लगभग 400 मीटर की ऊंचाई वाले इस भव्य किले में आठ दर्शनीय द्वार एवं 87 बुर्जियां है। कहा जाता है कि इस किले का निर्माण तेरहवीं शताब्दी में वारंगल रियासत के शासकों ने कराया था। कालान्तर में कुतुबशाही शासकों का शासन रहा। चोटी पर पहुच कर चारों ओर दृष्टिपात किया तो मन रोमांचित हो उठा। किले में नगीना बाग, सफा मस्जिद, दरबार हॉल, रानी महल, बारहदरी मस्जिद, रामदास का कोठा, तारामती बारादरी सहित कई अन्य विशेष भवन हैं। कई जीर्ण-शीर्ण अवस्था में हैं। जलापूर्ति की प्राचीन व्यवस्था भी चकित कर देने वाली है। वस्तुतः वास्तुकला का एक दस्तावेज है यह भव्य किला। इतिहास में विश्व प्रसिद्व कोहिनूर हीरे के यहीं से प्राप्त होने का उल्लेख मिलता है। रानी महल में होने वाले लाइट एवं साउंड शो देखने वाला था। रात को गोलकुंडा का किला जब पहाडियों पर लगी लाइटों की रोशिनयों से नहा उठता है तो बस देखते ही बनता है।
सालारजंग म्यूजियम
अगले दिन सबसे पहले हमारी इच्छा प्रसिद्ध सालारजंग म्यूजियम देखने की थी। सालारजंग म्यूजियम एशिया का सबसे विस्तृत और प्राचीन म्यूजियम है। हैदराबाद के पूर्व निजाम सालारजंग तृतीय की विश्व के विभिन्न देशों से लायी गयी व्यक्तिगत वस्तुयें भी यहां संगृहीत हैं। इसमें घडियां, फर्नीचर, पुस्तकें, चीनी मिट्टी के नक्काशीदार बर्तन व बेहतरीन पेटिंग्स सम्मिलित हैं। इसकी 38 गैलरियों में 40 हजार से अधिक नयनाभिराम कलाकृतियां, पांडुलिपियां व पुस्तकें संगृहीत हैं। यहां 19वीं सदी की एक घड़ी बरबस पर्यटकों का ध्यान आकृष्ट करती हैं। एक घन्टे बाद एक खिलौना आकृति बाहर आकर आवाज निकालती है। संग्रहालय की यात्रा का चरमोत्कर्ष संगमरमर की बनी रेबेका की अत्यन्त खूबसूरत मूर्ति है।
हुसैन सागर लेक
हुसैन सागर लेक को स्थानीय लोग टैंक बंड के नाम से भी पुकारते हैं। हैदराबाद और सिंकदराबाद के मध्य स्थित इस विशाल झील को मुहम्मद कुतुबशाह ने बनवाया था। झील के बीचोंबीच एक ऊंचे आधार पर स्थापित भगवान बुद्ध की 18 फुट ऊंची भव्य प्रतिभा बरबस मन मोह लेती है। झील के दक्षिण में स्थित लुंबिनी उद्यान दर्शनीय है। इसमें प्रतिदिन रात को होने वाली लेजर लाइट शो का प्रदर्शन मनभावन होता है। पास ही स्थित नेकलेस रोड हैदराबाद का मरीन ड्राइव है।
चारमीनार
चारमीनार हैदराबाद की पहचान ही नहीं बल्कि हिन्दुस्तान की शान भी है। हैदराबाद जाकर चारमीनार न देखना, आगरा जाकर ताजमहल न देखने के बराबर है। हैदराबाद के निर्माता सुल्तान मोहम्मद अली कुतुबशाह ने इस भव्य चारमीनार को 1592 में शहर की स्थापना काल में ही बनवाया था। अरबी शिल्प कला के इस बेजोड़ नमूने पर हैदराबादियों का गौरवान्वित होना स्वाभाविक है। चारमीनार शहर की किसी भी ऊंची इमारत से दिखाई देती है। चारमीनार के पास ही प्रसिद्ध चूड़ी बाजार है। कांच, पर्ल, लैकर गोल्ड, गारनेट से लेकर सिल्वर तक विभिन्न प्रकार की सुंदर चूडियां यहां उपलब्ध हैं। सफेद मोतियों की एक से बढ़कर एक खूबसूरत मालायें व कर्णफूल भी यहां उपलब्ध हैं। ब्लेक मेटल (बिदरीवेयर) की बनी प्लेट, ऐशट्रे सहित अन्य कलाकृतियां भी यहां मिलती हैं।
फिल्मसिटी
हैदराबाद की यात्रा अंतिम चरण में थी। विश्व प्रसिद्व रामोजी फिल्मसिटी को देखने के लिए प्रातः ही रामोजी के लिए प्रस्थान किया। हैदराबाद के बाह्यांचल में हयातनगर क्षेत्र में स्थित यह फिल्मसिटी अद्भुत कल्पनाशीलता एवं जिजीविषा का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। 2000 एकड़ के विस्तृत क्षेत्र में फैला यह विचित्र कल्पनालोक आज विश्वभर में अग्रणी है। रामोजी फिल्मसिटी ने तो तकनीकी सुविधाओं की दृष्टि से हॉलीवुड स्थित कई फिल्मसिटियों को पीछे छोड़ दिया है। विश्व के सबसे बड़े फिल्मसिटी के रूप में रामोजी फिल्मसिटी का नाम गिनीज बुक में दर्ज हो गया है।
हैदराबाद आने वाले अनेक पर्यटकों का प्रथम गंतव्य रामोजी फिल्मसिटी होता है। 10 लाख से अधिक पर्यटक प्रतिवर्ष देश- विदेश से आकर इस भव्य फिल्मसिटी का अवलोकन करते हैं। इसकी स्थापना का श्रेय आंध्र प्रदेश के शीर्षस्थ फिल्म निर्माताओं में से एक रामोजी राव को जाता है। वस्तुतः उनका उदेश्य फिल्मसिटी का स्थापना कर फिल्म निर्माताओं को एक ही स्थान पर भिन्न-भिन्न परिवेश में फिल्म निर्माण से सम्बन्धित सुविधायें प्रदान करना था। आज यहां फिल्म निर्माण एवं निर्माणेतर प्रक्रियाओं की पूर्ति हेतु विश्वस्तरीय उपकरण व अन्य सुविधायें उपलब्ध हैं। स्टेज से लेकर कॉस्ट्यूम तक और शूटिंग से लेकर प्रोसेसिंग तक सभी कुछ इस परिसर में उपलब्ध है। एक साथ अनेक फिल्मों की शूटिंग किये जाने की अनोखी सुविधा, इसको अनूठा वैशिष्ट्य प्रदान करती है। देश-विदेश के निर्माता निर्देशक यहां आकर निश्चिंत हो जाते हैं। विभिन्न भाषाओं की सैकड़ों फिल्में यहां बन चुकी हैं। हालीवुड की फिल्म सेंटीपीड का निर्माण यहीं हुआ था।
आरम्भ में तो रामोजी फिल्मसिटी मात्र फिल्म निर्माण से जुड़ा हुआ था लेकिन इसकी बढ़ती लोकप्रियता को देखते हुए इसे आम जनता के लिए खोल दिया गया। पर्यटकों, विशेषकर बच्चों के लिए यहां विशेष सुविधायें जुटाई गयीं। हस्पताल व कॉलेज का समन्वय रामोजी फिल्मसिटी की शान है। एक ओर कॉलेज का दृश्य है। कार्यालय, पुस्तकालय, खेल का मैदान व कैंटीन सभी कुछ तो है। जैसे ही दूसरी ओर जाते हैं तो आपको हस्पताल दिखाई देता है। एयरपोर्ट से कुछ ही दूर सैन्ट्रल जेल है। इस जेल में कैदियों के अतिरिक्त सब कुछ है।
मन्दिर, मस्जिद, चर्च, गुरद्वारा सभी कुछ तो है यहां। पुजारी, मौलवी, पादरी व ज्ञानी जी जरूरत पड़ने पर उपलब्ध हो जाते हैं। चैराहों पर खूबसूरत फव्वारे व कलात्मक मूर्तियां बरबस मन मोह लेती हैं। इन्हें रोचक नाम दिये गये हैं। इनमें सायोनारा (पगोडा), फ्लाइंग किस, हवाई (फव्वारा युक्त आकर्षक उद्यान), सिन्धूर लेन (कलात्मक प्रकाश स्तंभों वाला गलियारा), मैजस्टिक फाउंटेन, प्रिन्सेस स्ट्रीट (पाश्चात्य भवन शैली वाली गली) उल्लेखनीय हैं। रामोजी फिल्मसिटी में सुरम्य आउटडोर शूटिंग स्थलों के अतिरिक्त कई इनडोर शूटिंग स्थलों की भी सुविधा है। कन्नड, तेलगू, हिन्दी, बांग्ला व अंग्रेजी फिल्मों सहित कई अन्य भाषाओं की लगभग 80 फिल्मों व कई सीरियलों की शूटिंग यहां हो चुकी है। सौभाग्य से हमें भी एक कन्नड़ फिल्म की शूटिंग देखने का मौका मिला। हम सभी के लिए यह अनूठा व यादगार अनुभव था।
बिरला मंदिर व मक्का मस्जिद
हैदराबाद प्रवास के अंतिम दिन हमने धर्मस्थलों के दर्शन एवं खाद्य विशेषताओं का रसास्वादन किया। सबसे पहले हम प्रसिद्ध बिरला मंदिर देखने गये। ऊंची पहाड़ी पर स्थित यह भव्य मंदिर देश की बिरला मंदिर शृंखला में अग्रगण्य है। प्रसिद्ध चारमीनार के दक्षिण पूर्व में स्थित प्राचीन मक्का मस्जिद का अनूठा शिल्प देखकर अरबी वास्तुशिल्प के प्रति हम श्रद्धान्वत हुए बिना न रह सके। इस विशाल मस्जिद में हजारों लोग एक साथ बैठकर नमाज पढ़ सकते हैं।
जायका
हैदराबाद की खाद्य परम्परा का अपना अलग ही वैशिष्ट्य है। हैदराबादी दम बिरयानी (वेज व नानवेज), मिर्ची का सालन, हैदराबादी हलीम (रमजान के महीने में ही उपलब्ध), खुबानी का मीठा, डबल का मीठा यहां के प्रसिद्ध व्यंजन हैं। 19वीं सदी में ईरान से आये प्रवासी ईरानियों द्वारा शुरू की गयी ईरानी चाय का जादू उनके वंशजों व स्थानीय लोगों ने बरकरार रखा है। यहां ईरानी चाय के बहुत दीवाने हैं। कोटी स्थित गोकुल चाट के तो कहने ही क्या। बेकरी की बात चले तो सिंध से आये खान चंद रमनानी द्वारा माधापुर में खोली कराची बेकरी का नाम सबसे ऊपर आता है। यहां के फ्रूट बिस्किट, प्लम केक व दिलकुश देश-विदेश में लोकप्रिय हैं।
खेलों की चमक
हैदराबाद ने खेलों के क्षेत्र में विशेष योगदान दिया है। लाल बहादुर शास्त्री स्टेडियम एवं गोपीचन्द फुलेला बैडमिंटन एकेडमी शहर की शान है। पूर्व क्रिकेट कप्तान अजहरूदीन, वीवीएस लक्ष्मण, टेनिस में नम्बर एक सानिया मिर्जा और बैडमिंटन में विश्व की नम्बर एक बनने वाली पहली महिला खिलाड़ी सायना नेहवाल का खेल इसी ऐतिहासिक शहर में परवान चढ़ा।
तकनीकी तरक्की
हैदराबाद का जितना विकास विगत 400-425 वर्षों में हुआ, उससे कहीं अधिक विगत 15-20 वर्षों में हुआ है। हाइटेक सिटी देखकर हम हतप्रभ रह गये। लगा किसी पाश्चात्य देश में आ गये हों। माइक्रो सॉफट, विप्रो, डॉ. रेड्डीज से लेकर अनेक अन्य विश्व प्रसिद्ध कम्पनियां व संस्थान इस शहर की शान हैं। नेशनल जियोफिजिक्स रिसर्च इंस्टीट्यूट, भू-भौतिकी अनुंसधान का विश्व प्रसिद्ध शोध संस्थान हैदराबाद के मुकुट मेें जड़े अनमोल रत्न हैं। जब हम हैदराबाद से विदा ले रहे थे तो मुझे मेरे मित्र द्वारा कही बात याद आ रही थी कि हैदराबाद अपनेपन से ओतप्रोत शहर है जो इसे अपनाता है, हैदराबाद दुगुनी तेजी से उसे अपनाता है।
कैसे जायें
हैदराबाद देशभर से रेलमार्ग से जुड़ा है। सुविधा एवं आर्थिक क्षमतानुसार रेलगाडियों का चयन कर सकते हैं। दिल्ली से द्रुतगामी रेलगाडियां 24 से 30 घंटे का समय लेती हैं। लगभग सभी हवाई विमान कम्पनियों के विमानों की मुख्य शहरों से हैदराबाद के लिए उड़ाने हैं।
कब जायें
यू तो वर्षभर में कभी भी जाया जा सकता है पर नवम्बर से फरवरी तक का समय सर्वाधिक उपयुक्त है।
