इससे पहले मंगलवार को विपक्षी दलों ने पेट्रोल और डीजल की बढ़ी हुई कीमतों को वापस लेने की मांग को लेकर राज्यसभा में हंगामा किया।
नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: तेल कंपनियों ने देश भर में पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतों में बुधवार को लगातार दूसरे दिन 80 पैसे प्रति लीटर की बढ़ोतरी की। नए टैरिफ के अनुसार, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली में पेट्रोल की कीमत 97.01 रुपये प्रति लीटर होगी, जबकि डीजल की कीमत 88.27 रुपये प्रति लीटर हो गई है।
मुंबई में लोगों को पेट्रोल के लिए 111.67 रुपये और डीजल के लिए 95.85 रुपये चुकाने होंगे। मुंबई में पेट्रोल की कीमत देश के मेट्रो शहरों में सबसे ज्यादा है। कोलकाता में पेट्रोल की कीमत 106.34 रुपये (83 पैसे की वृद्धि) और डीजल की कीमत 91.42 (80 पैसे की वृद्धि) है। दक्षिण की ओर बढ़ते हुए, चेन्नई में पेट्रोल की कीमत अब 102.91 रुपये है, जबकि डीजल की कीमत 92.95 रुपये प्रति लीटर होगी।
ईंधन की कीमतों में बढ़ोतरी चार महीने से अधिक के अंतराल के बाद हुई है। उपभोक्ताओं को राहत देने के लिए सरकार ने पिछले साल नवंबर में ईंधन पर उत्पाद शुल्क में कटौती की थी। पेट्रोल की कीमत अब तक के उच्चतम स्तर पर थी जब सरकार ने पेट्रोल पर 5 रुपये प्रति लीटर और डीजल पर 10 रुपये प्रति लीटर की कटौती की।
