आजादी के 75 वें अमृत महोत्सव के दौरान सोनीपत के साईं खेल केंद्र में रविवार को खेलो इंडिया के अंतर्गत आर्चरी प्रतियोगिता सीनियर व जूनियर का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें देश के नॉर्थ जोन के 10 राज्यों से 182 खिलाड़ियों ने शिरकत की है। सीनियर में जहां हरियाणा की छोरियों ने मारी बाजी वहीं पंजाब रहा तीसरे नंबर पर।

सोनीपत: आजादी के 75 वें अमृत महोत्सव के दौरान सोनीपत के साईं खेल केंद्र में रविवार को खेलो इंडिया के अंतर्गत आर्चरी प्रतियोगिता सीनियर व जूनियर का आयोजन किया गया। जिसमें देश के नॉर्थ जोन के 10 राज्यों से 182 खिलाड़ियों ने शिरकत की है। सीनियर में जहां हरियाणा की छोरियों ने मारी बाजी वहीं पंजाब रहा तीसरे नंबर पर।
आर्चरी खिलाड़ियों का हुनर तराशने के मकसद
समारोह में भारतीय तीरंदाजी संघ नॉर्थ जोन के चेयरमैन राजेंद्र सिंह तोमर बतौर मुख्य अतिथि कहा कि खेलो इंडिया और आजादी के 75 व अमृत महोत्सव के दौरान आर्चरी खिलाड़ियों का हुनर तराशने के मकसद को लेकर यहां साईं खेल केंद्र के आर्चरी मैदान में यह प्रतियोगिता करवाई गई है और आगामी पांच दिसंबर को फिर से यहीं पर यह प्रतियोगिता आयोजित होगी । हर रविवार को अब प्रत्येक महीने के पहले रविवार को इस तरह से आर्चरी प्रतियोगिता लगातार करवाई जाती रहेगी। जैसे विदेशों में भी इसी तरह का प्रचलन है। 13 नवंबर से 20 नवंबर तक ढाका में एशियन चैंपियनशिप आयोजित होनी है। इधर साईं खेल केंद्र की एग्जीक्यूटिव डायरेक्टर ललिता शर्मा ने स्वागत किया।
देश में पहली बार हुआ ऐसा प्रयास
द्रोणाचार्य अवॉर्डी खिलाड़ी और आर्चरी निर्देशक साईं खेल केंद्र संजीव कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि देश में पहली बार ऐसा प्रयास हो रहा है कि इस तरह के खेल आयोजन करने का मकसद यह है कि जब विदेशों में या फिर ओलंपिक में खेलने के लिए जाते हैं तो इतना अच्छा प्रदर्शन नहीं हो पाता लेकिन अब खिलाड़ी हर महीने खेलेंगे तो वह आगे भी जरूर बढ़ेंगे और देश के खिलाड़ियों को विदेशों में अच्छा प्रदर्शन करने में कामयाब होंगे।
वर्षा सोना ने सीनियर आर्चरी प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान
वर्षा सोना ने सीनियर आर्चरी प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम स्थान हासिल किया जो निशा पुनिया ने द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया और पंजाब की अंशु का ने तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया वहीं पुरुषों में सीनियर सचिन गुप्ता ने प्रथम हरियाणा से और राजू लाल मीणा ने राजस्थान से द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया और ध्रुव बग्गा ने दिल्ली से तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त कर यह चैंपियनशिप जीत ली।
ढाका में होने वाली एशियन चैंपियनशिप की तैयारी
आंध्र प्रदेश की आर्चरी की खिलाड़ी ज्योति सुरेखा ने बताया कि सितंबर में जो अमेरिका में सीनियर वर्ल्ड चैंपियनशिप हुआ था उसमें उन्होंने तीन सिल्वर मेडल जीतकर आर्चरी में अच्छा करने का प्रयास किया है और अभी ढाका में एशियन चैंपियनशिप होनी है। हरियाणा के गुड़गांव से आर्चरी खिलाड़ी ऋषभ यादव ने बताया कि पांच इंटरनेशनल प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग ले चुके हैं खेलो इंडिया को लेकर उनका कहना है कि यह केंद्र सरकार की एक अच्छी पहल है। हुनर दिखाने का अवसर मिलता है। एशियन चैंपियनशिप के लिए तैयारियों में जुटे हुए हैं।
