उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि वे धरने पर बैठे ऐसे किसानों की सूची तैयार करें जिन्हें तेज बुखार है। ऐसे किसानों की कोविड-19 की जांच की जाए।
उपायुक्त पूनिया बुधवार को अपने कार्यालय में अधिकारियों की विशेष समीक्षात्मक बैठक को संबोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने धरनारत किसानों को जरूरी सुविधाओं की समीक्षा करते हुए विशेष रूप से स्वास्थ्य जांच के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा कि किसान बड़ी संख्या में एक स्थान पर एकत्रित हुए हैं। ऐसे में उनकी स्वास्थ्य जांच लगातार जारी रखी जाए। साथ ही किसानों को कोविड जांच के लिए भी तैयार करें। उन्होंने कहा कि किसानों को मास्क का वितरण भी नियमित रूप से करते हुए प्रयोग के लिए प्रोत्साहित करें। धरनास्थल पर महिला किसान भी एकत्रित हुई हैं। ऐसे में महिलाओं को विशेष सुरक्षा व सुविधा प्रदान की जाए।
उन्होंने महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग की टीम गठित करने के निर्देश दिए। महिलाओं के लिए अलग से मोबाईल शौचालय भी आरक्षित किए जाएं। धरना स्थल पर बिजली व पानी की आपूर्ति के साथ सफाई व्यवस्था की भी पड़ताल करते हुए जरूरी निर्देश दिए। उपायुक्त ने ड्यूटी मजिस्ट्रेटों को निर्देश दिए कि जिन्हें जो ड्यूटी दी गई है उसे पूरी करे। इस मौके पर पुलिस अधीक्षक जशनदीप सिंह रंधावा ने कानून एवं व्यवस्था को लेकर आवश्यक जानकारी दी। बैठक में नगर निगम के आयुक्त जगदीश शर्मा, आईएएस अधिकारी सलोनी शर्मा, एसडीएम विजय सिंह, नगराधीश उदय सिंह, नगर निगम के संयुक्त आयुक्त सुभाषचंद्र, सीएमओ डा. जेएस पूनिया आदि अधिकारीगण मौजूद थे।
