ज्ञानिकों ने चेतावनी जारी करते हुए कहा है कि नए संस्करण पर कोविड वैक्सीन अप्रभावी हो सकती है, संक्रमण की दर बहुत तेज हो सकती है और रोगियों में गंभीर लक्षण विकसित हो सकते हैं।
नई दिल्ली: पिछले दो सालों में कोरोनावायरस दुनिया भर में लाखों लोगों की जान ली है। लेकिन कई देशों को यह संक्रमण इतनी बुरी तरह तोड़ चुका है कि उनकी अर्थव्यवस्था चार से पांच साल पीछे खिसक गई है। इस बीच एक बार फिर से कोरोना के नए वैरिएंट ने दुनिया में दस्तक दे दी है। दक्षिण अफ्रीका में कोविड-19 बी.1.1529 का एक नया संस्करण सामने आया है। नया संस्करण सामने आने के बाद वैज्ञानिकों ने वैश्विक स्तर पर कोविड संक्रमण के तेजी से बढ़ने की आशंका जताई है। वैज्ञानिकों ने चेतावनी जारी करते हुए कहा है कि नए संस्करण पर कोविड वैक्सीन अप्रभावी हो सकती है, संक्रमण की दर बहुत तेज हो सकती है और रोगियों में गंभीर लक्षण विकसित हो सकते हैं।

इस कोरोना के नए वैरिएंट ‘बी.1.1.529’ के अभी तक के 26 केस सामने आए हैं और यह तीन देशों दक्षिण अफ्रीका,बोत्सवाना और हांगकांग में फैल चुका है। इस पर वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि इस नए वैरिएंट में अब तक 32 म्यूटेशन देखने को मिले हैं। यह अन्य वैरिएंट में हुए म्यूटेशन से कहीं अधिक है। इसलिए इसे काफी खतरनाक और संक्रामक बताया जा रहा है।
ब्रिटेन ने भी रोकी छह देशों की यात्रा
कोरोनावायरस के काबू में होने के बाद अब सभी देशों ने धीरे-धीरे अंतरराष्ट्रीय यात्रियों के लिए अपने दरवाजे खोलने शुरू किए थे। इस बीच नए वैरिएंट ने एक बार फिर से पूरी दुनिया को डरा दिया है। हांगकांग, दक्षिण अफ्रीका और बोत्सवाना में सामने आए नए वैरिएंट के बाद ही ब्रिटेन ने छह दक्षिण एशियाई देशों की यात्रा को अस्थाई तौर पर निलंबित कर दिया है।
भारत ने भी जारी किया अलर्ट
इस नए वैरिएंट के संक्रमण के केस सामने आते ही भारत ने भी इसको लेकर तुरंत अलर्ट जारी कर दिया है। भारत सरकार की ओर से सभी राज्यों को दिशा-निर्देश जारी किए गए हैं कि हांगकांग, दक्षिण अफ्रीका और बोत्सवाना से आने वाले सभी यात्रियों की कड़ी जांच व परीक्षण किया जाए। इसको लेकर केंद्रीय राज्य सचिव राजेश भूषण ने सभी राज्यों व केंद्र शासित प्रदेश के मुख्य सचिवों को पत्र लिखा है। हालांकि, देश में अब तक कोविड वैरिएंट B.1.1.529 का कोई मामला सामने नहीं आया है।
मामले से जुड़ी अहम जानकारी:
- B.1.1.1.529 प्रकार में कुल 50 प्रकार के उत्परिवर्तन हैं। इनमें से 30 प्रकार के उत्परिवर्तन केवल स्पाइक प्रोटीन में होते हैं। स्पाइक प्रोटीन अधिकांश COVID-19 टीकों का लक्ष्य है और यह वायरस को हमारे शरीर में प्रवेश करने से रोकता है। शोधकर्ता अभी भी इस बात की पुष्टि करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं कि क्या यह नए संस्करण को पहले वाले संस्करण की तुलना में अधिक संक्रामक और घातक बनाता है।

- डेल्टा प्लस संस्करण जो बाद वाले संस्करण से उत्परिवर्तित था, स्पाइक प्रोटीन पर K417N उत्परिवर्तन की विशेषता थी; इस उत्परिवर्तन के कारण रोग प्रतिरोधक क्षमता प्रभावित हुई। हालांकि अभी यह स्पष्ट नहीं है कि बी.1.1.1.529 में ऐसा हो रहा है या नहीं।
- संक्रमण फैलने के साथ ही कोरोना वायरस अपना रूप बदलता रहता है और इसके नए रूप सामने आते हैं, जिनमें से कुछ काफी घातक होते हैं लेकिन कई बार ये अपने आप खत्म हो जाते हैं। वैज्ञानिक संभावित रूपों पर नजर रखते हैं जो अधिक संक्रामक या घातक हो सकते हैं। वैज्ञानिक यह भी पता लगाने की कोशिश करते हैं कि नया रूप सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य को प्रभावित कर सकता है या नहीं।
- नए संस्करण की उत्पत्ति पर अटकलें जारी हैं, लेकिन हो सकता है कि यह उसी रोगी से विकसित हुआ हो। लंदन स्थित यूसीएल जेनेटिक्स इंस्टीट्यूट के निदेशक फ्रांकोइस बलौक्स ने सुझाव दिया है कि यह कम प्रतिरक्षा वाले व्यक्ति, संभवतः एचआईवी / एड्स रोगी के पुराने संक्रमण के परिणामस्वरूप हो सकता है।
- इस सप्ताह सबसे पहले दक्षिण अफ्रीका में नए संस्करण की पहचान की गई। यह बोत्सवाना सहित पड़ोसी देशों में तेजी से फैल गया, जहां पूरी तरह से टीकाकरण वाले लोग भी संक्रमित हो गए हैं। दक्षिण अफ्रीका में इस प्रकार के 100 से अधिक मामले सामने आए हैं। बोत्सवाना में मामले तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं।

- विश्व स्वास्थ्य संगठन का तकनीकी कार्य समूह शुक्रवार को नए संस्करण का आकलन करने के लिए बैठक करेगा और यह तय कर सकता है कि इसका नाम ग्रीक वर्णमाला के साथ रखा जाए या नहीं।
- इस बीच, ब्रिटिश सरकार ने घोषणा की कि वह दक्षिणी शुक्रवार को दोपहर 12 बजे से दक्षिण अफ्रीका और पांच अन्य अफ्रीकी देशों के लिए उड़ानों पर प्रतिबंध लगा रही है और जो कोई भी हाल ही में उन देशों से आया है, उसका परीक्षण COVID-19 के लिए किया जाना चाहिए। लेना चाहिए
