पंचायती गौशाला गोनियाना में गोपाष्टमी का पावन पर्व श्रद्धा के साथ मनाया गया। गौशाला अध्यक्ष कश्मीरी लाल तथा गौशाला कमेटी सदस्यों ने गौ पूजन करवाया। श्री गीता भवन के मुख्य पुजारी पंडित गजेन्द्र दत्त शास्त्री ने मंत्रो उच्चारण किया।

गोनियाना, (भटिंडा): गीता भवन के मुख्य पुजारी पंडित गजेन्द्र दत्त शास्त्री ने कहा कि भारत में गौमाता को सबसे बड़ा तीर्थ माना जाता है हमारे ऋषि-मुनियों ने इस देश में इस बात को प्राथमिकता दी की जहां गौमाता होती है वहां पर व्याधियां खत्म हो जाती हैं।
पंडित गजेन्द्र दत्त शास्त्री गोपाष्टमी का पावन पर्व के मौके पर बोल रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने स्वयं गायों की पूजा की थी। गौ माता का दूध अमृत तुल्य है। गौ मूत्र से उपचार होते हैं। पूजा स्थल पर गौ के गोबर से लिपाई कर आंगन को शुद्ध करते हैं।
