नई दिल्ली: भारत ने गुरुवार को ओडिशा के तट पर चांदीपुर में एकीकृत परीक्षण रेंज (आईटीआर) से ब्रह्मोस सुपरसोनिक क्रूज मिसाइल के एक नए संस्करण का सफल परीक्षण किया।

डीआरडीओ के एक सूत्र के हवाले से बताया कि चांदीपुर में एकीकृत परीक्षण रेंज (आईटीआर) लॉन्च पैड- III से सुबह करीब 10.45 बजे मिसाइल का परीक्षण किया गया। मिसाइल नए तकनीकी विकास से लैस थी, जो सफलतापूर्वक सिद्ध हो गई थी।
रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने सफल उड़ान परीक्षण के लिए ब्रह्मोस, डीआरडीओ टीमों और उद्योग को बधाई दी।
रक्षा अनुसंधान एवं विकास सचिव और डीआरडीओ के अध्यक्ष डॉ जी सतीश रेड्डी ने हथियार प्रणालियों की दक्षता को अधिकतम करने के लिए लगातार प्रयास करने के लिए वैज्ञानिकों और इंजीनियरों की सराहना की।

इससे पहले, 11 जनवरी को, DRDO ने पश्चिमी तट से INS विशाखापत्तनम से मैन पोर्टेबल एंटी-टैंक गाइडेड मिसाइल (MPATGM) के अंतिम वितरण योग्य कॉन्फ़िगरेशन का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया। वर्तमान परीक्षण न्यूनतम सीमा के लिए लगातार प्रदर्शन को साबित करना था। मिशन के सभी उद्देश्यों को पूरा किया गया, ”रक्षा मंत्रालय ने एक विज्ञप्ति में कहा।
“मिसाइल ने ऑन-बोर्ड नियंत्रण और मार्गदर्शन के लिए इन्फ्रारेड इमेजिंग साधक और उन्नत एवियोनिक्स को छोटा कर दिया है। मिसाइल के प्रदर्शन को पहले के परीक्षण परीक्षणों में अधिकतम सीमा के लिए सिद्ध किया गया है। मंत्रालय ने कहा कि स्वदेश में विकसित टैंक रोधी मिसाइल कम वजन, आग और भूल जाने वाली मिसाइल है और इसे थर्मल दृष्टि से एकीकृत मानव पोर्टेबल लांचर से प्रक्षेपित किया जाता है। मंत्रालय ने कहा, “मिसाइल ने निर्धारित लक्ष्य को प्रभावित किया और उसे नष्ट कर दिया।
