सांसद रमेश कौशिक ने सोनीपत पौधारोपण महाअभियान का बतौर मुख्य अतिथि दीनबंधु छोटूराम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय मुरथल (डीसीआरयूएसटी) में पौधारोपण किया। सासंद कौशिक ने कहा कि पौधों से प्रकृति है और प्रकृति से मानव का जीवन है, जीवन को जीवंत रखने के लिए सुखद, सुरक्षित भविष्य के लिए पर्यावरण संरक्षण की जरूरत है।
गोहाना, गन्नौर, सोनीपत, राई क्षेत्र में हलका विधायक मोहनलाल बड़ौली व उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया तथा पुलिस अधीक्षक जश्रदीप सिंह रंधावा और एसडीएम विजय सिंह ने भी पौधारोपण किया।
विधायक बड़ौली ने कहा कि पौधारोपण समय की मांग है। हर व्यक्ति को पौधारोपण व पोषण की जिम्मेदारी निभानी होगी। उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा कि पौधे जीवन का आधार हैं। प्राकृतिक संतुलन को पुन: स्थापित करने के लिए एक लाख पौधे लगाने का लक्ष्य और साथ इनको ट्रेकिंग सिस्टम के साथ जोड़ेगे ताकि पौधे जिंदा रहे इसके आम जन सहयागी की जरूरत है।
वैल्फेयर सेंटर (वाणी एवं श्रवण विकलांगता) में एसीटीयू सलोनी शर्मा तथा एसडीएम विजय सिंह और नगराधीश उदय सिंह ने वैल्फेयर सेंटर (वाणी एवं श्रवण विकलांगता) के साथ सांसद कौशिक पौधारोप करने के बाद कहा कि त्रिवेणी (नीम, बड़, पीपल) अधिक संख्या में लगायें। बीधल में ट्री-मैन देवेंद्र सुरा और उनकी पर्यावरण मंडली ने पौधारोपण अभियान में बीडीपीओ मनोज कौशल, सरपंच विनोद, मास्टर विजय आदि साथ में रहे।
राज्यसभा सांसद रामचंद्र जांगड़ा ने माहरा गांव स्थित शिवधाम में पौधारोपण के बाद कहा कि जीवन रेखा के संरक्षण व वृद्धि के लिए पौधारोपण जरूरी है।
गन्नौर हलका विधायक निर्मल चौधरी ने गांव शेखपुरा और आहुलाना में सोनीपत पौधारोपण महाअभियान काे आरंभ किया। खुद पौधारोपण करें और दूसरों को प्रेरित करें। सोनीपत पौधारोपण महाअभियान में नगर निगम के आयुक्त जगदीश शर्मा एमसी पार्क सेक्टर-14 में पौधारोपण किया। निगमायुक्त ने कहा कि पौधारोपण मनुष्य के साथ-साथ पशु-पक्षियों की भी जरूरत है। पुलिस अधीक्षक जश्नदीप सिंह रंधावा ने सिविल लाइन पुलिस स्टेशन परिसर में पौधारोपण कर अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों को पौधारोपण के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मुनीश शर्मा ने राजकीय कन्या वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय मुरथल अड्डा और राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय मुरथल में पौधारोपण किया और कहा कि पौधारोपण में युवा शक्ति आगे आए युवा पीढ़ी असंभव को संभव करने सक्षम है।
