कोविड-19 कोरोना वायरस से संरक्षण के उद्देश्य से जिलाधीश श्याम लाल पूनिया ने सोनीपत जिला में रात्रि नौ बजे से प्रात:काल पांच बजे नाइट कर्फ्यू लगाने के आदेश जारी कर दिए हैं। आगामी आदेशों तक यह जारी रहेंगे। अवहेलना करने वालों पर आपदा प्रबंधन अधिनियम 2005 के अंतर्गत कड़ी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
- रोजाना रात्रि 9 बजे से प्रात:काल 5 बजे तक लागू रहेगा नाइट कर्फ्यू , आदेशों की अवहेलना पर होगी कड़ी कार्यवाही

जिलाधीश श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा कि कोरोना वायरस के बढ़ते मामलों के दृष्टिगत सरकार ने नाइट कर्फ्यू के आदेश जारी किए हैं, गैर-आवश्यक गतिविधियों पर प्रतिबंध रहेगा। वे सडक़ या किसी सार्वजनिक स्थान पर अनावश्यक रूप से न तो घर के बाहर पैदल और न ही गाड़ी से घूम सकेंगे।

नाइट कर्फ्यू के समय लोगों की परेशानियों को समझते हुए आवश्यक सेवाओं से जुड़े लोगों को छूट दी जा रही है। उनमें कानून और व्यवस्था/आपात स्थिति तथा नगरपालिका सेवाओं/ड्यूटी में कार्यरत कार्यकारी-मजिस्ट्रेट, पुलिस कर्मियों, वर्दी में सेना/सीएपीएफ बल के जवान, स्वास्थ्य, बिजली, अग्निशमन विभाग, सरकार की ओर से मान्यता प्राप्त पत्रकार और कोविड-19 से संबंधित कार्यों के लिए लगाई गई सरकारी मशीनरी से जुड़े लोग शामिल हैं। सभी को पहचान-पत्र रखना होगा।

नाइट कर्फ्यू के दौरान अस्पताल, दवा की दुकानें और एटीएम खुला रहने की अनुमति रहेगी। गर्भवती महिलाओं और रोगियों को चिकित्सा, स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं प्राप्त करने के लिए भी आने-जाने की अनुमति होगी। आईएसबीटी के रेलवे स्टेशन तथा एयरपोर्ट जाने या वहां से लौटने वाले यात्रियों को भी आवागमन की अनुमति होगी।
