मानव एकता और प्रेम भाईचारे के लिए अपने प्राण न्योछावर कर देने वाले मानवता के मसीहा युगप्रवर्तक बाबा गुरबवचन सिंह जी संत निरंकारी मिशन के तीसरे मार्गदर्शक थे, जो हिंसा और खूनखराबे से दुखी होकर कहते थे कि 'मुझे काली, पीली या नीली झंडियों से कभी दुख महसूस नहीं हुआ, पर जब किसी मनुष्य का खून बहता है, तो मैं बहुत दुखी होता हूँ। चाहे वह मनुष्य हमारा साथी हो या विरोधी। मनुष्य का खून किसी भी हालत में नहीं बहना चाहिए।

बाबा बूटा सिंह जी तथा बाबा अवतार सिंह जी की आध्यात्मिक शिक्षा से नवाजे गए बाबा गुरबचन सिंह ने मात्र 32 वर्ष की उम्र में जब संत निरंकारी मिशन के तीसरे मार्गदर्शक के रूप में जिम्मेदारी सम्भाली उसके बाद आपने लगातार 17 वर्ष संत निरंकारी मिशन के सत्य-ज्ञान और प्रेम व भाईचारे के संदेश को पूरे भारतवर्ष के प्रत्येक शहर के साथ ही विश्व के अनेक देशों में पहुंचाया।

1 – कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी भक्त अपना विश्वास कैसे दृढ़ रखें ?
बाबा गुरबचन सिंह जी भक्तों को हमेशा सुमिरण का सहारा लेने पर बल देते हुए फरमाते थे कि कैसी भी कठिन परिस्थितियां आ जाएं, भक्त की ढाल सुमिरण ही होता है। सुमिरण द्वारा ही निराकार परमात्मा के प्रति विश्वास दृढ़ होता है। अत: प्रभु निरंकार का भजन-सुमिरण करते रहें।
2- ऐसा क्या करे जिससे किसी के अवगुाण नज़र न आएं
बाबा गुरबचन सिंह जी कहते थे कि कही गन्दगी पड़ी हो तो उसे फैलाने से गन्दगी नहीं हटेगी, केवल दुर्गन्ध ही फैलेगी। इसी तरह किसी के अवगुणों को देखकर ढिंढोंरा पीटने से कोई फायदा होने वाला नहीं। अवगुणों से स्वयं भी बचें और उस प्रााी के लिये अरदास भी करें कि उसके जीवन से वह अवगुण निकल जाये। अतः दूसरों के गुण देखकर ही हम अवगुणों से बच सकते हैं।
3 – सादा विवाह क्यों है जरूरी
बाबा गुरबचन सिंह जी का कहना था कि फिजुल खर्ची और बिना दिखावे के शादी-विवाह सादगी में होने चाहिए। शादी दिन में ही हो ताकि बिजली की चकाचौंध और रोशनी की जरूरत ही न पड़े। बारातियों की संख्या सिमित हो ताकि दिखावे और फिजूल के आडम्बरों से बचा जा सके।
4 – नशाबंदी क्यों है जरूरी
बाबा गुरबचन सिंह जी का कहना था कि नशा पारिवारिक, सामाजिक और मानसिक रूप से पतन का कारण बनता है। नशा न केवल इंसान की सेहत पर बुरा असर करता है, बल्कि घर-परिवार बिखर जाता है और बच्चे बिगड़ जाते है, इसलिए हर प्रकार के नशे को त्याग देना चाहिए
5 – बच्चों और युवाओं के लिए आध्यात्म क्यों जरूरी है
बच्चों को चरित्रवान बनाने के संदर्भ में बाबा गुरबचन सिंह जी फरमाते थे कि बच्चे समाज की नींव होते हैं। उनके पालन-पोषाण और पढ़ाई लिखाई का खास ध्यान रखा जाना चाहिए। बढ़ रहे दिखावे और फैशन से, बच्चों का ध्यान हटाकर उन्हें आध्यात्म से जोड़कर सादा और मेहनती जीवन जीने की प्रेरणा दी जानी चाहिए।
नौजवान याद रखें जवानी प्रभु का अनमोल उपहार है। युवा अपना जोश और बुजुर्गों से प्राप्त होश बनाए रखें। बच्चे और युवा आध्यात्म से जुड़े इसके लिए जरुरी है कि उन्हें बाल उम्र में ही सत्संग से जोड़ दिया जाए।
