“इन प्रावधानों को लागू करने के लिए प्रासंगिक भर्ती नियमों में आवश्यक संशोधन किए जाएंगे। रक्षा सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रमों को सलाह दी जाएगी कि वे अपने संबंधित भर्ती नियमों में समान संशोधन करें। आवश्यक आयु में छूट का प्रावधान भी किया जाएगा,” राजनाथ सिंह ने आगे कहा।

रिपोर्टों के अनुसार, एक बार की ऊपरी आयु सीमा में 21 से 23 वर्ष की छूट के अनुरूप, शाह ने आगे कहा, “अग्निवीर के पहले बैच के लिए, आयु में छूट निर्धारित ऊपरी आयु सीमा से 5 वर्ष के लिए होगी। सशस्त्र बल के उम्मीदवारों द्वारा देश भर में चार दिनों के हिंसक विरोध के मद्देनजर घोषणाएं आती हैं, जो इस राय के हैं कि नई सैन्य भर्ती योजना नाविकों, सैनिकों और वायुसैनिकों के लिए केवल चार साल की सेवा की कल्पना करती है और यह कि कोई नहीं होगा कार्यकाल के अंत में नौकरी की सुरक्षा।
