पंखे बनाने की फैक्टरी कुंडली औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में बुधवार रात को आग लगी गई। फैक्टरी में कार्यरत दो कर्मी बेसमेंट में फंस गए। जिससे उनका दम घुट गया और झुलस गए जिससे उनकी मौत हो गई। बाकी के 54 अन्य कर्मी सकुशल निकल गए। इस भीष्ण आग पर काबू पाने में फायर ब्रिगेड की 12 गाडिय़ों ने काबू पाया। सोनीपत के अलावा कैथल, हिसार, जींद व पानीपत से भी फायर टेंडर बुलाए गए। दोनों श्रमिकों के शवों को पुलिस ने कब्जे में लिया, पोस्टमार्टम कराया। पुलिस, फायर ब्रिगेड व एचएसआईआईडीसी इस मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी है।

कुंडली औद्योगिक क्षेत्र स्थित 65 नंबर फैक्टरी में आग लगने से दो झुलसे कर्मियों की पहचान यूपी के जिला बस्ती के निद्धिपुर निवासी जितेंद्र कुमार (21) व बिहार के वैशाली स्थित गांव रसूलपुर के कमलेश (40) के रूप में हुई है। कई मजदूर खिडक़ी के शीशे तोडक़र बाहर भागे। कई अन्य दूसरे रास्ते से बाहर निकले। सोनीपत से तीन, पानीपत से दो, कैथल से दो, हिसार, जींद, गोहाना, गन्नौर, कुंडली व राई से एक-एक गाड़ी मौके पर पहुंची। लगभग पांच घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया जा सका। सूचना के बाद पहुंची कुंडली थाना पुलिस ने शवों को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भिजवाया। पुलिस ने गुरुवार को शवों का पोस्टमार्टम कराकर परिजनों को सौंप दिया। गुरुवार को फैक्टरी में ताला लगा होने के कारण मामले में जांच नहीं की जा सकी।

कुंडली थाना, जांच अधिकारी, एएसआई राजेश कुमार ने बताया कि फैक्टरी में आग लगने की सूचना के बाद पुलिस टीम पहुंच गई थी। धुएं में दम घुटने व झुलसने से दो श्रमिकों की मौत हो गई है। पुलिस ने शवों का पोस्टमार्टम करवाकर परिजनों को सौंप दिया है।

सोनीपत के जिला अग्निशमन अधिकारी याशीन खान ने बताया कि फैक्टरी में आग लगने की सूचना मिलते ही टीम को भेज दिया गया था। स्वयं मौके पर पहुंचा। रात को करीब 12 गाडिय़ों ने मशक्कत से आग पर काबू पाया। फैक्टरी में जांच के बाद आग लगने के कारणों व फायर सिस्टम होने के बारे में पता लग सकेगा। गुरुवार को दिन में जांच के लिए गया था, लेकिन फैक्टरी पर ताला लटका था। जिसके चलते जांच नहीं हो सकी।
