जरीन खान ने इस बारे में सोशल मीडिया पर एक पोस्ट के जरिए बताया। दरअसल जरीन खान का 14 मई को बर्थडे था और उससे एक-दो दिन पहले ईद। फैन्स ने ऐक्ट्रेस को उनके बर्थडे और ईद की ढेरों शुभकामनाएं दी थीं और सोशल मीडिया पर मेसेज भेजे। जरीन मां की खराब तबीयत के कारण सोशल मीडिया से दूर थीं और अब उन्होंने जब वापसी की तो सभी से पहले तो माफी मांगी और फिर बताया कि बीमार मां के कारण वह किसी के भी मेसेज का जवाब नहीं पाईं।
जरीन खान ने सभी फैन्स का शुक्रिया अदा किया और अपने इंस्टाग्राम अकाउंट पर एक पोस्ट लिखा, जिसमें उन्होंने मां के अस्पताल में भर्ती होने के बारे में बताया और फैन्स से प्रार्थना करने की अपील की। जरीन खान ने लिखा, ‘मैं जानती हूं कि मैं थोड़ी लेट हूं, लेकिन आप सभी के प्यार और मेरे बर्थडे व ईद पर भेजी शुभकामनाओं के लिए बहुत शुक्रिया। मैं हर किसी को पर्सनली जवाब नहीं दे पाई, इसके लिए भी माफी मांगती हूं। पिछले डेढ़ महीने से मैं अपनी बीमार मां की देखरेख में लगी हूं। बार-बार अस्पताल का आना-जाना लगा हुआ है। वह अब दोबारा अस्पताल में भर्ती हैं और मैं आप सभी से विनती करती हूं कि प्लीज उनके जल्दी ठीक होने के लिए दुआ करें।’ प्रफेशनल फ्रंट की बात करें तो जरीन खान इस साल ‘हम भी अकेले तुम भी अकेले’ में नजर आईं जो डिज्नी प्लस हॉट स्टार पर रिलीज हुई।
