मुख्यमंत्री के पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने मंगलवार को 39 लाख रुपए की लागत से गलियों के पुनर्निर्माण का रुका हुआ कार्य शुरू करवाया। इनके दिल्ली कैम्प वासियों ने राजीव जैन एवं पार्षद बबीता कौशिक का फूल-मालाएं पहनाकर स्वागत किया और सड़क पुनर्निर्माण के लिए धन्यवाद किया।

आजादी के बाद बसे दिल्ली कैम्प में समस्याओं का अंबार जस का तस रहा, 65 वर्षों में किसी सरकार ने सुध नहीं ली थी। प्रदेश में भाजपा की सरकार बनने के बाद ज्यादातर समस्याओं का समाधान करवा दिया गया, जबकि बचे हुए कार्यों को भी भाजपा सरकार ही पूरा करवाएगी।
राजीव जैन ने नागरिकों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि कितनी सरकारें आईं और कितनी सरकारें गई, लेकिन दिल्ली कैम्प की हालत खराब ही रही। वर्ष 2014 में भाजपा सरकार बनने के बाद करोड़ों रुपए की लागत से खंडहर हो चुके सार्वजनिक शौचालयों के स्थान पर पार्क, दो सामुदायिक भवन, सीवर एवं पानी की जर्जर हो चुकी लाइनों को बदलने के बाद गलियों का निर्माण कार्य शुरू करवाया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस के नेता विकास का केवल ढिंढोरा पीटते हैं, जबकि वास्तविक रूप में विकास भाजपा सरकार ही करवाती है।
इस अवसर पर पार्टी के नेता त्रिभुवन कौशिक, महेश जौहर, अजीत सिंह, सुभाष राणा, मोनू सचदेवा, सुरेश गनौत्रा, जतिन जौहर, मोनू छाबड़ा, प्रीतम, सूरजभान, बलवंत, शन्नो देवी, नीमो देवी, शकुंतला देवी, शीला देवी, सीता देवी आदि मौजूद रहे।
