एआईसीटीई के सदस्य सचिव प्रो.राजीव कंसल ने कहा कि दीनबंधु छोटू राम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय, मुरथल में बनने वाली अटल एकेड़मी में एक्सीलेंस सेंटर व आईडिया लेब बनाई जाएगी,यह देश के लिए रोल मॉडल होगी। अटल एकडमी को डीसीआरयूएसटी चलाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि अखिल भारतीय तकनीकी शिक्षा परिषद प्रतिवर्ष एक लाख तकनीकीे शिक्षकों को ट्रेंड करेगी।

अटल एकेडमी के लिए जमीन को लेकर एआईसीटीई के सदस्य सचिव प्रो.कंसल के नेतृत्व में दो सदस्यीय टीम ने डीसीआरयूएसटी का दौरा किया, जिसमें एनडब्लूआरओ के निदेशक डा.आर.के.सोनी,अटल एकडमी के असिस्टेंट डायरेक्टर डा.गिरधारी लाल गर्ग शामिल थे। टीम ने विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा अटल एकडमी को दी जाने वाली जमीन को देखा तथा विश्वविद्यालय की सुविधाओं का जायजा भी लिया।

एआईसीटीई के सदस्य सचिव प्रो.कंसल ने कहा कि एआईसीटीई का जोर रोजागरपरक शिक्षा की ओर है। इसलिए एआईसीटीई ने लगभग 100 से अधिक विशेष एरिया निर्धारित किए हैं, जिनमें तकनीकी शिक्षकों को ट्रेंड किया जाना है। अटल एकडमी के संचालन का दायित्व डीसीआरयूएसटी के हाथ में होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि 2018-19 में एआईसीटीई ने 1000, 2019-20 में एक लाख, 2020-21 में 1.5 लाख टीचर को ट्रेंड किया जा चुका है। जबकि नए वित्त वर्ष में एआईसीटीई का एक लाख टीचर को ट्रेंड करने का लक्ष्य है। नए वित्त वर्ष में एआईसीटीई 1000 प्रोग्राम करेगी, जिसमें से 500 प्रोग्राम ऑन लाइन तथा 500 प्रोग्राम ऑफ लाइन होंगे।
कुलपति प्रो.राजेंद्रकुमार अनायत ने कहा कि डीसीआरयूएसटी अटल एकडमी के लिए जमीन देने के लिए तैयार है। विश्वविद्यालय के अनुभवी प्रोफेसर अटल एकडमी में तकनीकी शिक्षकों को ट्रेंड करेगी। विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा एआईसीटीई को हर प्रकार का सहयोग दिया जाएगा। विश्वविद्यालय जल्द ही एआईसीटीई के साथ एमओयू पर जल्द ही हस्ताक्षर करेगा। शैक्षणिक अधिष्ठाता प्रो.डी.पी.तिवारी, रजिस्ट्रार प्रो.पवन दहिया, प्रो.अशोक शर्मा, प्रो.डी.के.जैन, प्रो.आर.सी. नोटियाल, प्रो.आर.के.गर्ग,प्रो चित्र रेखा काबरे,प्रो.अनिल खुराना,प्रो.आर.के.सोनी, कार्यकारी अभियंता बलबीर सिंह श्योकंद व एसडीओ राकेश डागर आदि उपस्थित थे।
