देश के रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने शुक्रवार को कहा कि स्वदेशी विमान वाहक पर चल रहे काम की पहली बार समीक्षा की, जो भारत का गौरव है और आत्मानिर्भर भारत का एक चमकदार उदाहरण है। भारत के पहले स्वदेशी विमानवाहक पोत- INS Vikrant (आईएनएस विक्रांत)- को अगले साल नौसेना के बेड़े में शामिल किया जाएगा।

INS Vikrant (आईएनएस विक्रांत) जिसे स्वदेशी विमानवाहक पोत 1 या IAC-1 के रूप में भी जाना जाता है, अगले वर्ष नौसेना में शामिल किया जाएगा।
