आजादी के महासंग्राम के तहत 1857 की पहली क्रांति में हरियाणा के वीरों का खास योगदान रहा। कलाकारों ने 1857 की क्रांति में हरियाणा के वीरों के पराक्रम, कुर्बानी और योगदान को मंचन के माध्यम से जीवंत किया है।

सोनीपत: सासंद रमेश कौशिक ने कहा है कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के निर्देशानुसरा आजादी की 75वीं वर्षगांठ के उपलक्ष्य अमृत महोत्सव मना रहे हैं। यह अमृत महोत्सव वीर शहीदों की शहादत को नमन करता है। आजादी के महासंग्राम के तहत 1857 की पहली क्रांति में हरियाणा के वीरों का खास योगदान रहा। कलाकारों ने 1857 की क्रांति में हरियाणा के वीरों के पराक्रम, कुर्बानी और योगदान को मंचन के माध्यम से जीवंत किया है।
बतौर चीफ गेस्ट सांसद रमेश कौशिक ने स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों व वीर शहीदों को नमन किया। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने आजादी की 75वीं वर्षगांठ के उपलक्ष्य में आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव की अनूठी शुरुआत की है। महोत्सव के अंतर्गत आयोजित किये जा रहे कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से हमें अपने वीर शहीदों को जानने का अवसर मिलता है। नाटक मंचन दर्शाता है कि आजादी की लड़ाई में सैंकड़ों नहीं अपितु लाखों की संख्या में लोगों ने कुर्बानी दी है।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता कर रहे उपायुक्त ललित सिवाच ने कहा कि दो वर्ष से हम आजादी का अमृत महोत्सव मना रहे हैं, 1857 से शुरु हुई आजादी की लड़ाई का परिणाम स्वतंत्रता के रूप में 1947 में मिला और फिर 1950 में संविधान बना। आजादी के महोत्सव के माध्यम से भी यह संदेश प्रसारित किया गया है। समाजसेवी माईराम कौशिक विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में शामिल हुए। डीआईपीआरओ बिजेंद्र कुमार व जीवीएम संस्था के प्रधान डा. ओपी परूथी ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत किया। मंच का संचालन भूमिका शर्मा ने किया। सिविल सर्जन डा. जयकिशोर, एक्सईएन प्रशांत कौशिक, जसबीर दोदवा, मनिंद्र सन्नी, पार्षद पुनीत त्यागी, डा. शकुंतला डा. सुभाष, डा. रमेश नारंग, सुभाष सिसोदिया, सत्यवान सरोहा, एडवोकेट सुनील वत्स उपस्थित रहे ।
