एसएस न्यूज. कुरुक्षेत्र। भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग प्राधिकरण (एनएचएआई) की तरफ से पानीपत से जालंधर एनएच-44 पर निजी सम्पतियों (ढांबों, होटलों) के सामने बनाए गए कट तथा अवैध कटों को बंद करने का कार्य किया जा रहा है। इस राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर सर्वे करने के उपरांत जगहों को चिन्हित किया गया है और इस सर्वे रिपोर्ट के आधार पर एनएच-44 पर सडक़ दुर्घटनाओं पर अकुंश लगाने के लिए रोजाना 5 से 6 अवैध कट को बंद करने का काम किया जा रहा है। अहम पहलू यह है कि कुरुक्षेत्र जिला की सीमा में आने वाले एनएच-44 पर निजी सम्पतियों के आगे कट तथा अन्य अवैध कटों को 20 दिनों के अंदर बंद कर दिया जाएगा।

जालांधर तक अवैध कटों को बंद करने का कार्य शुरु
एनएचएआई के अधिकारी भानू प्रताप सिंह ने मंगलवार को लघु सचिवालय के सभागार में सडक़ सुरक्षा समिति के समक्ष एनएचएआई की तरफ से अपनी रिपोर्ट को प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने सडक़ सुरक्षा समिति के समक्ष अपनी रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करते हुए कहा कि एनएच-44 पर सडक़ दुर्घटनाओं पर अकुंश लगाने और लोगों की बेशकीमती अनमोल जान को बचाने के लिए सडक़ सुरक्षा नीति के तहत निजी सम्पतियों के आगे कट तथा अन्य अवैध कटों को बंद करने के लिए एनएचएआई की तरफ से दिशा-निर्देश जारी हुए है। इन आदेशों के बाद भारतीय राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग-44 पर पानीपत से लेकर जालांधर तक अवैध कटों को बंद करने का कार्य शुरु कर दिया गया है। इस कार्य को जल्द से जल्द पूरा किया जाएगा। इसके लिए आवश्यक कार्रवाई भी की जा रही है।

उन्होंने कहा कि एनएच-44 पर करनाल जिला की सीमा में अवैध कटों को बंद करने का कार्य आगामी 1 सप्ताह में पूरा करने के प्रयास किए जाएंगे और इसके उपरांत कुरुक्षेत्र जिला की सीमा में एनएच-44 पर स्थित मोहड़ा तक जितनी भी निजी सम्पतियों, होटलों, ढाबों तथा अन्य अवैध कटों को सर्वे के बाद चिन्हित किया गया है और इन अवैध कटों को बंद करने की कार्रवाई भी शुरु कर दी है। इस जिले में सम्भावना है कि आगामी 20 दिनों में होटलों, ढाबों, निजी सम्पतियों के आगे कटों सहित अवैध कटों को बंद कर दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि एनएचएआई की तरफ से पहले भी जालियां व फेंसिंग करके अवैध कटों को बंद किया गया था, लेकिन कोई न कोई इनकों तोड़ देता था, इसलिए इस बार सीमेंट के भारी बेरिकेड लगाए जा रहे है, यह सुरक्षित और मजबूत होंगे।
