एसएस न्यूज. कुरुक्षेत्र। पुलिस अधीक्षक हिमांशु गर्ग ने कहा कि कोरोना के संक्रमण से आमजन को बचाने के लिए और कोविड-19 के नियमों की पालना करवाने तथा ट्रैफिक नियमों की सख्ती से पालना करवाने के लिए पुलिस प्रशासन दिन-रात मुस्तैदी के साथ कार्य कर रहा है। जिसके फलस्वरुप पुलिस ने 1 मई 20201 से 31 मई 2021 तक कुल 4565 वाहनों के चालान किए गए और इन वाहन चालकों पर 21 लाख 23 हजार रुपए का जुर्माना भी किया गया।

ई-चालान में हेल्मेट, सीट बेल्ट और अन्य तरह के चालान शामिल
पुलिस अधीक्षक हिमांशु गर्ग ने मंगलवार को सडक़ सुरक्षा समिति के समक्ष पुलिस विभाग द्वारा ट्रैफिक व कोविड नियमों को लेकर की गई कार्रवाई को प्रस्तुत किया। उन्होंने कहा कि ट्रैफिक नियमों की पालना करवाने के लिए कुरुक्षेत्र जिले को 3 जोन में विभाजित किया गया जिसमें ईस्ट, वेस्ट और हाईवे शामिल है। इन तीनों जोनों में यातायात पुलिस की पीसीआर, राईडर व अन्य यातायात पुलिस दिन-रात कार्य कर रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि यातायात पुलिस ने कुल 4039 ई-चालान किए है और इन वाहन चालकों पर 18 लाख 44 हजार 500 रुपए का जुर्माना किया है। इस ई-चालान में हेल्मेट, सीट बेल्ट और अन्य तरह के चालान शामिल है।
सीसीटीवी कैमरे के 1252 चालान भी शामिल
एसपी ने कहा कि यातायात पुलिस ने 4039 चालान करके 3230 वाहनों को कम्पाउंड किया है, 809 चालान पैंडिंग है तथा 33 वाहनों को इम्पाउंड किया गया है। इनमें से यातायात पुलिस ने 526 चालान बिना मास्क वाले लोगों के किए है। इससे 2 लाख 78 हजार 500 रुपए का जुर्माना भी वसूल किया गया है। यातायात पुलिस ने 17 आटो चालकों के भी चालान किए है। इस तरह यातायात पुलिस द्वारा 4565 चालान करके 21 लाख 23 हजार रुपए का जुर्माना लगाया है। इन चालानों में सीसीटीवी कैमरे के 1252 चालान भी शामिल है। इस मौके पर डीएसपी ट्रैफिक नरेन्द्र सिंह और एसएचओ ट्रैफिक भी मौजूद थे।
