राष्ट्रपति भवन की विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार केंद्रीय मंत्री थावरचंद गहलोत को मंगलवार को कर्नाटक का राज्यपाल और मंगूभाई छगनभाई पटेल को मध्य प्रदेश का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया।
एसएस न्यूज.नई दिल्ली। राष्ट्रपति भवन की विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार केंद्रीय मंत्री थावरचंद गहलोत को मंगलवार को कर्नाटक का राज्यपाल और मंगूभाई छगनभाई पटेल को मध्य प्रदेश का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया।
गहलोत (73), केंद्रीय सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्री, एक प्रमुख दलित नेता हैं। उन्होंने मोदी सरकार में सामाजिक न्याय और अधिकारिता मंत्री के रूप में कार्य किया। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने राज्यसभा में सदन के नेता की भी सेवा की। संसदीय बोर्ड के एक सदस्य और भाजपा की केंद्रीय चुनाव समिति, कर्नाटक के राज्यपाल के रूप में उनकी नियुक्ति कैबिनेट विस्तार की चर्चा के बीच हुई।
राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद ने कुछ राज्यपालों की नियुक्ति और कुछ अन्य के विभागों में बदलाव को मंजूरी दी है। केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल में फेरबदल की खबरों के बीच यह घोषणा की गई है।
हरि बाबू कंभमपति और राजेंद्र विश्वनाथ अर्लेकर को क्रमशः मिजोरम और हिमाचल प्रदेश का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया है। विज्ञप्ति में कहा गया है कि कंभमपति पीएस श्रीधरन पिल्लई का स्थान लेंगे, जिनका तबादला कर उन्हें गोवा का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया है। अर्लेकर बंडारू दत्तात्रेय की जगह लेते हैं जिन्हें स्थानांतरित कर हरियाणा के राज्यपाल के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया है। बयान में कहा गया है कि हरियाणा के राज्यपाल सत्यदेव नारायण आर्य का तबादला कर उन्हें त्रिपुरा का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया है। त्रिपुरा के राज्यपाल रमेश बैस का तबादला कर उन्हें झारखंड का राज्यपाल नियुक्त किया गया है।
