पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री कविता जैन ने कहा कि नारायणी माता की महिमा अपरंपार है। मान्यता है कि जो भक्त सच्चे दिल से भगवान शिव की पहली पत्नी सती का अवतार महासती नारायणी माता से मन्नत मांगते हैं मां उनकी मुराद पूरा करती है। नारायणी माता की महिमा की ख्याति दूर-दूर तक फैली है।

सोनीपत: महलाना रोड स्थित नारायणी माता मंदिर का वार्षिक उत्सव शनिवार को श्रद्धापूर्वक धूमधाम से मनाया गया। पूर्व कैबिनेट मंत्री कविता जैन ने विशेष रूप से यहां पहुंचकर माता की पूजा अर्चना की और वार्षिक उत्सव में शामिल हुईं। भक्तों ने भजन कीर्तन प्रस्तुत कर मां की महिमा का बखान किया।

इस अवसर पर मंदिर परिसर में विशाल भंडारा लगाया गया। इसमें भारी संख्या में श्रद्धालुओं ने महाप्रसाद ग्रहण किया। इस मौके पर ओम प्रकाश, करतार, नंद किशोर, कृष्ण, राम किशोर, महेंद्र, राम निवास, धर्म दास सहित भारी संख्या में श्रद्धालु मौजूद रहे।
