उपायुक्त श्याम लाल पूनिया ने कहा कि कोविड-19 के संक्रमण के दृष्टिगत 30 नवंबर, 2020 तक जिला के सभी निजी तथा राजकीय विद्यालयों को बंद रखा जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा सरकार ने इस संदर्भ में आदेश जारी किये हैं। अत: निर्धारित अवधि को कोई भी विद्यालय न खोला जाए।

उन्होंने कहा कि हाल के दिनों में कोविड-19 के मामलों में हुई वृद्धि को देखते हुए प्रदेश सरकार ने यह निर्णय लिया है। इसलिए इस समयावधि तक स्कूलों के शिक्षकों व विद्यार्थियों के लिए स्कूल बंद रखे जाएंगे। इस दौरान स्कूल परिसर को संक्रमण मुक्त करने के लिए अच्छे से सैनेटाईज किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि विद्यालयों में प्रदेश सरकार के निर्णय की अनुपालना सुनिश्चित की जाए। इसमें किसी भी प्रकार की उल्लंघना के लिए स्कूल मुखिया तथा प्रबंधक जिम्मेदार होंगे।
