सोनीपत/नरेंद्र शर्मा परवाना: डीसीआरयूएसटी, मुरथल में उत्तर क्षेत्रीय अंतर विश्वविद्यालय बैडमिंटन प्रतियोगिता में सोमवार को दीनबंधु छोटू राम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय की टीम ने चौ.रणबीर सिंह विश्वविद्यालय, जींद की टीम को 3-0 से पराजित किया, जबकि इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय की टीम ने एसबीबीएसयू, जालंधर को किया 3-0 से पराजित किया। कुरुक्षेत्र विश्वविद्यालय की टीम ने डॉ. बी.आर.अंबेडकर विश्वविद्यालय, आगरा को 3-0 से पराजित किया।
विश्वविद्यालय के खेल निदेशक डॉ. वीरेन्द्र हुड्डा ने बताया कि दूसरे दिन पहला मैच कुरूक्षेत्र विश्वविद्यालय, कुरुक्षेत्र और डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर विश्वविद्यालय के बीच खेला गया। कुरुक्षेत्र विश्वविद्यालय ने डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर विश्वविद्यालय,आगरा की टीम को 3-0 से एकतरफा हराकर अपने नाम मैच कर लिया। दूसरे मैच में नोएडा इंस्टीट्यूट विश्वविद्यालय,उत्तर प्रदेश ने सोबान सिंह जीना विश्वविद्यालय, अल्मोड़ा को 3-0 से हराया।
तीसरा मुकाबला प्रयागराज विश्वविद्यालय और सीएसजेएमयू,कानपुर के बीच खेला गया। यह मुकाबला भी एकतरफा ही रहा। इस मुकाबले में प्रयागराज विश्वविद्यालय ने सीएसजेएमयू,कानपुर को 3-0 से ही पराजित किया।
चौथा मैच सीयू ऑफ पंजाब भटिण्डा और टीएमआईएमटी कॉलेज ऑफ फिजिकल एजुकेशन, मुरादाबाद के बीच खेला गया। सीयू ऑफ पंजाब भटिण्डा ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए टीएमआईएमटी कॉलेज ऑफ फिजिकल एजुकेशन, मुरादाबाद को 3-1 से पराजित कर दिया।
पांचवां मैच इग्नू विश्वविद्यालय,मीरपुर और सीयू,गहारून के बीच खेला गया। यह मैच भी एकतरफा रहा। इस मुकाबले में इग्नू विश्वविद्यालय ने सीयू,गहारून की टीम को को 3-0 से पराजित किया। छठे मैच में सीसीएसयू,मेरठ ने एमएमडीयू, मौलाना अम्बाला की टीम को 3-0 से हराया। सातवें में गुरुकुल कांगड़ी,हरिद्वार ने सीडीएलयू,सिरसा को 3-0 से पराजित किया। आठवें मैच में लखनऊ विश्वविद्यालय,लखनऊ ने पटियाला विश्वविद्यालय,लुधियानाकी टीम को 3-0 से हराया। नौवें मैच में इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय,इलाहबाद ने एसबीबीएसयू,जालंधर की टीम को 3-0 से हराया। दसवां मैच राम मनोहर लोहिया विश्वविद्यालय,अयोध्या और महाराजा भूपेंद्र सिंह विश्वविद्यालय,पंजाब के बीच हुआ। राम मनोहर लोहिया विश्वविद्यालय,अयोध्या की टीम ने महाराजा भूपेंद्र सिंह विश्वविद्यालय,पंजाब 3-1 से पराजित किया।
ग्यारहवां मैच कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय नैनीताल और उत्तराखंड टेक्निकल,देहरादून के बीच खेला गया। जिसमें कुमाऊं विश्वविद्यालय ने विपक्षी टीम को 3-0 से पराजित किया। बारहवां मुकाबला एलपीयू,फगवाड़ा और डीटीयू के बीच हुआ। इस मुकाबले में एलपीयू,फगवाड़ा ने डीटीयू की टीम को 3-0 से पराजित किया। तेरहवां मैच जीजेयू,हिसार और शिव नादर विश्वविद्यालय,दिल्ली के बीच खेला गया इस मैच में जीजेयू,हिसार की टीम ने शिव नादर विश्वविद्यालय की टीम को 3-0 से पराजित किया।चौदहवां मैच गुरु नानक देव विश्वविद्यालय,अमृतसर और मानव रचना विश्वविद्यालय,फरीदाबाद के बीच खेला गया। गुरु नानक देव विश्वविद्यालय ने मानव रचना विश्वविद्यालय,फरीदाबाद की टीम को 3-0 से पराजित किया। पंद्रहवां मैच हिमाचल विश्वविद्यालय,शिमला और नोएडा इंस्टीट्यूट विश्वविद्यालय,यूपी के बीच हुआ। इस मैच में हिमाचल विश्वविद्यालय, शिमला की टीम ने नोएडा इंस्टीट्यूट विवि.,यूपी को 3-0 से हराया। खेल निदेशक डा.बिरेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा,प्रो.सुरेंद्र दहिया, प्रो.पवन दहिया, प्रो.सुखदीप सिंह, पीयू, चंडीगढ के खेल उपनिदेशक डा.राकेश मलिक व पानीपत के खेल अधिकारी व बैडमिंटन के प्रसिद्ध कोच प्रदीप पालीवाल भी उपस्थित थे।
