कुलपति प्रो.अनायत ने कहा कि हमारा भरण पोषण मां करती है तो हमारी मातृ भाषा भी हमारी माँ की तरह पालने का कार्य करती है। मातृभाषा के बिना उन्नति संभव नहीं है।

सोनीपत/नरेंद्र शर्मा परवाना: दीनबंधु छोटू राम विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी विश्वविद्यालय,मुरथल के कुलपति प्रो.राजेंद्रकुमार अनायत ने कहा कि मातृभाषा हमें इतिहास, संस्कृति व परंपरा से जोड़ने का कार्य करती है। मातृभाषा हमें संस्कार सिखाने का कार्य भी करती है। उन्होंने कहा कि मातृभाषा हमें अपनी विरासत से भावनात्मक रूप से जोड़कर रखती है।
कुलपति प्रो.अनायत ने कहा कि हमारा भरण पोषण मां करती है तो हमारी मातृ भाषा भी हमारी माँ की तरह पालने का कार्य करती है। मातृभाषा के बिना उन्नति संभव नहीं है। डीसीआरयूएसटी,मुरथल में छात्र कल्याण विभाग द्वारा एनसीसी व एनएसएस के सहयोग से मातृभाषा दिवस मनाया गया। मातृ भाषा दिवस पर मुख्य अतिथि पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय के प्रो.गुरमीत सिंह थे। विश्वविद्यालय के रजिस्ट्रार प्रो.सुरेश कुमार ने गुरमीत सिंह का पुष्पगुच्छ देकर स्वागत किया।
कुलपति प्रो.अनायत ने कहा कि जिस प्रकार मां हमारा पालन पोषण करती है, उसी प्रकार से मातृभाषा भी हमें आगे बढाने का कार्य करती है। उन्होंने कहा कि मातृभाषा हमें देश प्रेम की भावना व राष्ट्रीयता से जोड़ने का कार्य करती है। मातृभाषा के बिना किसी भी राष्ट्र की संस्कृति की कल्पना भी नहीं की जा सकती।
पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय, चंडीगढ़ के हिंदी विभाग के प्रो.गुरमीत सिंह ने मुख्य वक्ता के तौर पर संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि शिक्षा शास्त्रियों और वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि मातृभाषा में शिक्षा देने से ज्यादा सर्वांगीण विकास होता है। हमें सभी भाषाओं का सम्मान करना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि हम अन्य भाषा का अनुवाद अपनी मातृभाषा को समृद्ध बना सकते हैं।
छात्र कल्याण अधिष्ठाता प्रो.विजय शर्मा ने प्रो.गुरमीत सिंह का धन्यवाद किया। मंच संचालन प्रो.सुमन सांगवान ने किया। इस अवसर पर चीफ हॉस्टल वार्डन प्रो.सुखदीप सिंह, एनएसएस कोर्डीनेटर प्रो.सुमन गुलिया, प्रो.पवन दहिया व डा. प्रदीप पंघाल भी उपस्थित थे।
