उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा का टॉपर विश्वविद्यालय का कंप्यूटर साइंस इंजीनियरिंग का पूर्व छात्र प्रदीप मलिक रहा है। विश्वविद्यालय के अनेक छात्र भारतीय प्रशासनिक, भारतीय पुलिस सेवा में कार्यरत हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त प्रदेश सेवा में भी कार्यरत हैं।

सोनीपत: डीसीआरयूएसटी, मुरथल में रविवार को पूर्व छात्र मिलन समारोह हुआ कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि कुलपति प्रो.राजेंद्र कुमार अनायत ने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय की वैश्विक स्तर पर प्रतिष्ठा बनाने में विद्यार्थियों का अहम योगदान होता है। विद्यार्थी विश्वविद्यालय के ब्रांड एंबेसडर होते हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा का टॉपर विश्वविद्यालय का कंप्यूटर साइंस इंजीनियरिंग का पूर्व छात्र प्रदीप मलिक रहा है। विश्वविद्यालय के अनेक छात्र भारतीय प्रशासनिक, भारतीय पुलिस सेवा में कार्यरत हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त प्रदेश सेवा में भी कार्यरत हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स इंजीनियरिंग के विद्यार्थी अवनीश छिक्कारा का प्रतिष्ठित अमेजॉन कंपनी में चयन हुआ था, जहां उसको प्रारंभिक 67 लाख रुपए का वार्षिक पैकेज मिला था। वर्तमान समय में छिक्कारा अमेरिका में एक करोड़ रुपए से अधिक के पैकेज पर कार्यरत है।
कुलसचिव प्रो.सुरेश कुमार ने कहा कि पूर्व विद्यार्थी विश्वविद्यालय में अपना अहम योगदान दे रहे हैं। यही कारण है कि विश्वविद्यालय निरंतर प्रगति के पथ पर बढ़ रहा है। विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व छात्र एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष एवं इलैक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियरिंग के विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो.सुरेंद्र सिंह दहिया ने कहा कि पूर्व विद्यार्थी विश्वविद्यालय में अपना बढचढ कर योगदान दे रहे हैं। 1996 में पास आउट हुए विपुल तनेजा विश्वविद्यालय के वर्तमान विद्यार्थियों को प्लेसमेंट उपलब्ध करा रहे हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व विद्यार्थी की आकस्मिक मौत हो गई थी, तो उसके बैच के पूर्व विद्यार्थियों ने अपने साथी के परिवार को दस दिन में 10 लाख रुपए की आर्थिक सहायता देने का लक्ष्य रखा था, लेकिन बैच के साथियों के सहयोग से मात्र दस दिन में लगभग 15 लाख रुपए की आर्थिक सहायता उपलब्ध कराई। सेवानिवृत्त प्रो.बी.पी सिंह, सेवानिवृत्त प्रो. आर.के.सोनी, विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व छात्र एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष एवं इलेक्ट्रिकल इंजीनियरिंग के विभागाध्यक्ष प्रो.सुरेंद्र सिंह दहिया,पूर्व अध्यक्ष यशवीर सिंह, प्रो.सुखदीप सिंह सांगवान, खेल निदेशक डा.बिरेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा महासचिव डा.मनोज पंवार,पूर्व अध्यक्ष यशवीर सिंह ,डा.सतपाल सिंह व कमल ढिल्लों आदि उपस्थित थे।
