भारतीय किसान संघ (बीकेयू) के नेता राकेश टिकैत ने रविवार को कहा कि अगर सरकार ने किसानों को जबरन सीमा से हटाने की कोशिश की तो वे देश भर के सरकारी कार्यालयों को "गल्ला मंडी" में बदल देंगे। इससे पहले दिल्ली पुलिस के गाजीपुर सीमा से बैरिकेड्स हटाने के फैसले की प्रतिक्रिया में, जहां किसान 11 महीने से अधिक समय से केंद्र के तीन कृषि कानूनों का विरोध कर रहे हैं, राकेश टिकैत ने कहा था कि किसान संसद के सामने फसल बेचेंगे।

पीएम ने कहा कि किसान कहीं भी फसल बेच सकते हैं। अब हम बताएंगे कि किसानों को उन फसलों को बेचना था जिनकी फसल नहीं बिकी। सड़कें खुली तो हम दिल्ली जाएंगे। हम अपनी फसल बेचने के लिए संसद जाएंगे,” टिकैत को एएनआई ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में उद्धृत किया था।
बीकेयू नेता ने रविवार को ट्वीट किया, ”अगर किसानों को सीमा से जबरन हटाने की कोशिश की गई तो वे देशभर के सरकारी दफ्तरों को गल्ला मंडी बना देंगे.”
