सोनीपत/नरेंद्र शर्मा परवाना: अखिल भारतीय अंतर विश्वविद्यालय महिला लॉन टेनिस प्रतियोगिता में उस्मानिया विश्वविद्यालय, हैदराबाद की टीम ने राजस्थान विश्वविद्यालय, राजस्थान को पराजित कर मंगलवार को जीत दर्ज की। जबकि राजस्थान विश्वविद्यालय, राजस्थान की टीम उपविजेता रही। विजेताओं को खेल निदेशक डा. बिरेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने पुरस्कृत किया।

प्रतियोगिता के तीसरे और चौथे स्थान के लिए मुकाबला गुजरात विश्वविद्यालय, गुजरात और एचएनजी विश्वविद्यालय,पाटन की टीम के बीच हुए मुकाबले में गुजरात विश्वविद्यालय, गुजरात की टीम ने एचएनजी विश्वविद्यालय, पाटन को कड़े सघर्ष के साथ खेलकर 2-1 प्वाइंट मात देकर तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया। चौथे दिन पहला सेमीफाइनल मैच उस्मानिया विश्वविद्यालय, हैदराबाद और गुजरात विश्वविद्यालय, गुजरात और की टीमों के बीच खेला गया। उस्मानिया विश्वविद्यालय, हैदराबाद की टीम ने गुजरात विश्वविद्यालय,गुजरात की टीम को एकतरफा 2-0 प्वाइंटों के अन्तराल से पराजित कर फाइनल में प्रवेश किया। प्रतियोगिता का दूसरा सेमीफाइनल राजस्थान विश्वविद्यालय,राजस्थान और एचएनजी विश्वविद्यालय,पाटन की टीमों के बीच खेला गया। राजस्थान विश्वविद्यालय,राजस्थान की टीम ने एचएनजी विश्वविद्यालय,पाटन की टीम को एकतरफा 2-0 प्वाइंटों के अन्तराल से हराकर फाइनल मैच में प्रवेश किया। इस अवसर पर प्रो.मनोज दूहन, प्रो.सुमन सांगवान व डा.सतपाल भी उपस्थित थे।
