वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमन ने विभिन्न मंत्रालयों के सचिवों से सरकारी कंपनियों के परफॉरमेंस पर अपनी नजर रखने की बात कही है। देश की इकॉनमी को गति देने के लिए सरकारी कंपनियों (Sitharaman Reviews Performance of CPSES) की बहुत महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका है और उन्हें अपने लक्ष्य हासिल करने के लिए बेहतर प्रदर्शन भी करना चाहिए। उन्हें 2020-21 के लिए जो पूंजीगत व्यय का टारगेट दिया गया है उसे सही ढंग से और समय सीमा में रहते हुए खर्च किया जाना चाहिए।
वित्त मंत्री (Nirmala Sitharaman) ने शुक्रवार को वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से शिपिंग, रोड ट्रांसपोर्ट और हाइवेज, हाउसिंग एंड अर्बन अफेयर्स, डिफेंस तथा डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ टेलीकम्युनिकेशन के मंत्रालयों और इन सचिवों से जुड़े 7 सरकारी कंपनियों (Sitharaman Reviews Performance of CPSES) के CMD के साथ मीटिंग की।
इस मीटिंग में इस वित्त वर्ष के लिए उनके पूंजीगत खर्च की समीक्षा (Sitharaman Reviews Performance of CPSES) की गई। कोविड-19 महामारी से बेहाल हुई इकॉनमी को दुबारा पटरी पर लाने के लिए सीतारमन (Nirmala Sitharaman) विभिन्न स्टेकहोल्डर्स के साथ मीटिंग कर रही हैं। इस सिरीज की यह तीसरी मीटिंग थी।
इकॉनमी के लिहाज से महत्वपूर्ण है सरकारी कंपनियां
इन कंपनियों के बेहतर प्रदर्शन से इकॉनमी को कोरोना के असर से बाहर निकलने में बहुत मदद मिलेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि असाधारण परिस्थितियों में असाधारण प्रयासों की बहुत जरूरत होती है और हम केवल बेहतर प्रदर्शन ही नहीं करेंगे बल्कि इकॉनमी को भी बेहतर मुकाम देने में मदद करेंगे।
वित्त मंत्री (Nirmala Sitharaman) ने यह सुनिश्चित करने को कहा है कि इन कंपनियों का पूंजीगत खर्च का 50 फीसदी हिस्सा वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 की दूसरी तिमाही तक खर्च होना चाहिए। इसके लिए उन्हें उचित व्यवस्था करनी पड़ेगी।
इन 7 सरकारी कंपनियों का वित्त वर्ष 2020-21 के लिए पूंजीगत खर्च का लक्ष्य 124821 करोड़ रुपये है। पिछले वित्त वर्ष में यह राशि 129821 करोड़ रुपये थे लेकिन इसमें से 114730 करोड़ रुपये यानी 88.37 फीसदी तक ही खर्च हो पाया था। इस साल जुलाई तक 24933 करोड़ रुपये ही खर्च हुए हैं जो कुल पूंजीगत खर्च का मात्र 20 फीसदी है। पिछले साल जून तक 15.53 फीसदी राशि का ही उपयोग किया गया था।
