सारथी जन सेवा चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट सोनीपत द्वारा हॉकी एकेडमी ग्राउंड, इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया सोनीपत में अंतरराष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में इस साल के थीम मेरी आवाज, हमारा समान भविष्य विषय पर कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्यातिथि के रूप में सेवानिवृत्त आईपीएस डा. सुमन मंजरी ने शिरकत की व कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता भारतीय महिला हॉकी की पूर्व कप्तान प्रीतम सिवाच ने की। इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि डा. सुमन मंजरी ने हाकी एकेडमी की बालिका खिलाडिय़ों को बालिका दिवस के मुख्य विषय मेरी आवाज़, मेरा समान भविष्य पर संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि आज लडकियां हर क्षेत्र में अपनी पहचान बना रहीं हैं।
सारथी ट्रस्ट की बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ अभियान की ब्रांड एम्बेसडर प्रीतम सिवाच एवम ट्रस्ट के संस्थापक चेयरमैन सतपाल सिंह अहलावत ने बेटियों को संकल्प दिलाया कि हम सब मिलकर एक नए भारत का निर्माण करेंगे। अहलावत ने कहा कि हमारा देश तभी विकसित होगा जब हमारी बेटियां पढ़ेगी लिखेगी, खेलेंगी। बेटी बढ़ेगी तो देश बढेगा। इस अवसर पर सारथी ट्रस्ट की और से प्रीतम सिवाच को सम्मानित किया व अकेडमी की बालिका खिलाडिय़ों को फल वितरित कर उत्साहवर्धन किया। कार्यक्रम में संरक्षक किरण बाला, संयोजक अनिल जैन एडवोकेट, कृष्ण वत्स, उपाध्यक्ष इंजीनियर विनोद जांगडा, डॉ सुनील वर्मा, प्रेम सिंह दहिया, एडवोकेट अरविंद, संजय सिवाच के अलावा बालिका हॉकी खिलाडिय़ों के माता पिता भी उपस्थित रहे।
