हरियाणा धर्मांतरण रोकथाम कानून, 2022 के अनुसार, लालच, बल या धोखाधड़ी के माध्यम से धर्म परिवर्तन करने पर एक से पांच साल की कैद और कम से कम एक लाख रुपये के जुर्माने का प्रावधान है।
चंडीगढ़/जीजेडी न्यूज: हरियाणा विधानसभा ने मंगलवार को बल, अनुचित प्रभाव या प्रलोभन के माध्यम से धर्मांतरण के खिलाफ एक विधेयक पारित किया। कांग्रेस ने बिल का विरोध किया और सदन से बहिर्गमन किया। 4 मार्च को विधानसभा में पेश किया गया बिल मंगलवार को चर्चा के लिए लाया गया। इसी तरह के बिल हाल ही में भाजपा शासित उत्तर प्रदेश और हिमाचल प्रदेश में पारित किए गए थे।
हरियाणा धर्मांतरण रोकथाम कानून, 2022 के अनुसार, लालच, बल या धोखाधड़ी के माध्यम से धर्म परिवर्तन करने पर एक से पांच साल की कैद और कम से कम एक लाख रुपये के जुर्माने का प्रावधान है।
बिल के अनुसार, जो कोई भी नाबालिग या महिला या अनुसूचित जाति या अनुसूचित जनजाति से संबंधित व्यक्ति को धर्मांतरित करने या बदलने का प्रयास करता है, उसे चार साल से अधिक की अवधि के लिए कारावास की सजा हो सकती है, जिसे बढ़ाकर 10 साल और न्यूनतम किया जा सकता है। तीन साल का। कम से कम तीन लाख रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया जा सकता है।
विपक्ष के नेता भूपेंद्र सिंह हुड्डा ने कहा कि मौजूदा कानूनों में जबरन धर्म परिवर्तन के मामले में सजा का प्रावधान है, इसलिए नया कानून लाने की जरूरत नहीं है।
कांग्रेस की वरिष्ठ नेता किरण चौधरी ने कहा, “मुझे लगता है कि यह हरियाणा के इतिहास का एक काला अध्याय होगा।”
उन्होंने कहा, “यह विधेयक सांप्रदायिक विभाजन को गहरा करेगा, यह विधेयक डरावना है। भविष्य में इसके गंभीर परिणाम हो सकते हैं। जिस रूप में यह विधेयक लाया गया है, उसका हम विरोध कर रहे हैं। कांग्रेस के वरिष्ठ नेता रघुवीर सिंह कादियान ने कहा, “इस विधेयक को लाने के लिए कोई आपात स्थिति या तात्कालिकता नहीं है। मुझे लगता है कि यह विधेयक विभाजनकारी राजनीति की बू आती है, जो अच्छी नहीं है।
बाद में कांग्रेस सदस्यों ने सदन से कुछ समय के लिए वाकआउट किया।
