नेशनल हाईवे अथॉरिटी ऑफ इंडिया के द्वारा बदरपुर फ्लाईओवर टोल प्लाजा पर टोल में एक रुपये का इजाफा करने के बाद वाहन चालकों ने सरकार के खिलाफ नाराजगी जाहिर की है। बदरपुर फ्लाईओवर टोल प्लाजा से गुजर रहे वाहन चालकों ने कहा कि जिस तरह से टोल की कीमतें लगातार बढ़ रही हैं उससे कहीं ना कहीं आम आदमी पिस रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि उनको ऐसा विश्वास था कि कोरोना के बीच में टोल की कीमतें नहीं बढ़ेंगी, लेकिन एक बार फिर से बदरपुर फ्लाईओवर टोल प्लाजा पर एक रुपये बढ़ा दिया गया है।

उधर ट्रांसपोर्टर ने इस बढ़ोतरी को अपने ऊपर बोझ बताया है। ट्रांसपोर्टर राम सिंह का कहना है कि लॉकडाउन में चार महीने तक गाडिय़ां बंद पड़ी थी, अब थोड़ी बहुुत ही गाडिय़ां चल रही हैं, काम धंधा पहले से ही ठप्प पड़ा है, ऊपर से सरकार टैक्स बढ़ाकर उन पर बोझ डाल रही है। कोरोना काल में सरकार का सिर्फ अपनी कमाई बढ़ाने पर जोर है। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली एनसीआर फरीदाबाद एनसीआर के बीच रोजाना हजारों वाहनों का आवागमन होता है, ऐसे में इससे लोगों की जेब पर अतिरिक्त भार पड़ेगा वहीं ट्रांसपोर्ट ड्राइवर ने बताया कि काम धंधा पहले से ही धीमा चल रहा है। ऐसे में उनको एक रुपये का बढ़ा हुआ टोल देना होगा। इसका सीधा असर उनकी जेब पर ही पड़ेगा क्योंकि कमाई ना होने के चलते उनके सामने पहले ही कई सारी परेशानियां हैं। लोगों ने कहा कि हाई वे पर सुविधाएं नाममात्र हैं, जबकि टोल कीमतें लगातार बढ़ाया जा रहा है।
हाईवे जगह-जगह से टूटा हुआ है और ना ही टोल प्लाजा पर किसी प्रकार की सुविधा मिल पाती है। बता दें कि टोल वसूलने वाली कंपनी के प्रोजेक्ट मैनेजर राजू कोचर के अनुसार हर साल नए रेट जारी होते हैं, बदरपुर फ्लाईओवर टोल प्लाजा पर मंथली पास में भी 13 रुपये से लेकर 39 रुपये तक की बढ़ोतरी कर दी गई है। बदरपुर फ्लाईओवर टोल प्लाजा पर टोल की दर 1 रुपये का इजाफा होने से लोग परेशान है।
