कोरोना ने बदली जिंदगी, छूटी नौकरी तो रेहड़ी पर बेचने लगा सब्जी

कोरोना के दौरान लगे लॉकडाऊन ने लोगों की जिंदगी ही बदल दी। हालात ऐसे हो गए है कि घर-परिवार का लालन-पोषण के लिए मजबूरी में व्यक्ति हर काम करने को मजबूर हो रहा है, जो उसने कभी जिंदगी में सोचा तक भी नहीं था। जवाहर कालोनी निवासी गोपाल शर्मा की जिंदगी में कुछ ऐसा ही उतार-चढ़ाव आया, जिसने उसकी जिंदगी ही बदल दी। गोपाल ने बताया कि अभी चार महीने पहले की ही तो बात है, लॉकडाउन में नौकरी छूट गई थी, मैं बेरोजगार हो गया था। सोचा घर कितना बैठूं, बच्चों का पेट भी तो भरना है। बस साइकिल उठाई और पहुंच गया सब्जी मंडी। थोड़ा सा धनिया-पुदीना खरीदा और निकल पड़ा गली-गली। रोजाना 150 से 200 रुपये कमाने लगा।

लॉकडाउन के चलते कुछ दिन घर खाली बैठा था। लॉकडाउन से पहले 11 वर्षीय की बेटी हिमांशी के पैर में चोट लग गई थी। पैर मुड़ गया था। उसके इलाज पर करीब 60 हजार रुपये खर्चा आया था। इस दौरान कुछ कर्ज भी हो गया था। जब लॉकडाउन हुआ, तो कर्ज की चिंता सताने लगी। पत्नी सुषमा शर्मा ने सलाह दी थी कि किसी से मदद लेने से बेहतर है मेहनत मजदूरी करके परिवार चलाना। गोपाल शर्मा लॉकडाउन में भले ही धनिया-पुदीना बेचने को मजबूर हो गए हों। मगर उनके जीवन में नया मोड़ तब आया, जब उनके हालात के बारे में पुलिस प्रशासन को पता चला। उनकी गरीबी को देखते हुए पुलिस आयुक्त कार्यालय बुलाया गया। तत्कालीन पुलिस आयुक्त केके राव की ओर से 25 हजार रुपये सहयोग राशि प्रदान की गई। बेटी के इलाज को भी अलग से मदद की गई। पुलिस की ओर से निजी अस्पताल में बेटी का इलाज चला। गोपाल शर्मा कहते हैं कि अब बेटी भी फिट है। पुलिस की ओर से आर्थिक मदद मिलने से उन्हें बड़ा सहारा मिल गया।
गोपाल कहते हैं कि पहले कभी निजी कंपनी में नौकरी करते थे। नौकरी छूटने पर भी हिम्मत नहीं हारी। ईश्वर की ऐसी कृपा रही कि धीरे-धीरे काम बढऩे लगा। गोपाल शर्मा ने बताया कि पुलिस की ओर से जो 25 हजार रुपये की मदद मिली थी, उससे उन्होंने रेहड़ी खरीद ली है और फलों का कारोबार शुरू कर दिया है। पहले साइकिल पर धनिया-पुदीना बेचते थे और अब अपनी रेहड़ी पर फल बेच रहे हैं। गोपाल कहते हैं कि काम कभी छोटा-बड़ा नहीं होता। मेहनत कीने वाला होना चाहिए, ईश्वर की कृपा भी होती है। निराश होकर घर बैठ जाता, तो कोई मदद नहीं करता। कहते भी हैं कि ईश्वर उनकी मदद करता है, जो खुद की मदद करते हैं।
