दिल्ली नगर निगम: कैबिनेट ने दिल्ली नगर निगमों के विलय को दी मंजूरी, इसी सत्र में पेश होगा विधेयक
दिल्ली नगर निगम (एमसीडी) को अप्रैल 2012 में शीला दीक्षित सरकार द्वारा तीन भागों में विभाजित किया गया था। दिल्ली नगर अधिनियम, 1957 को 2012 में संसद द्वारा एकीकृत एमसीडी को तीन भागों में विभाजित करने के लिए संशोधित किया गया था।
नई दिल्ली/जीजेडी न्यूज: केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने मंगलवार को एक बैठक की और दिल्ली में तीन नगर निगमों के एकीकरण के लिए संसद में एक विधेयक पेश करने को अपनी मंजूरी दे दी। केंद्र सरकार चल रहे बजट सत्र 2022 के दौरान संसद में बिल पेश करेगी।
अप्रैल में होने वाले निकाय चुनावों की तारीखों की घोषणा करने के लिए राज्य चुनाव आयोग (एसईसी) की एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस से ठीक पहले केंद्र ने 9 मार्च को राज्य चुनाव आयुक्त एसके श्रीवास्तव को एक संचार भेजा था कि वह “पुनर्मिलन” पर विचार कर रहा है। “तीन नगर निकायों और इसलिए चुनाव कार्यक्रम की घोषणा नहीं करने के लिए, जैसा कि पीटीआई की एक रिपोर्ट में उल्लेख किया गया है।

एमएचए ने कहा कि 2011 में दिल्ली नगर निगम के विभाजन के परिणामस्वरूप संपत्ति और देनदारियों का असमान वितरण हो सकता है, साथ ही अधिकारियों और ओवरहेड व्यय में वृद्धि के कारण निगमों की आय और व्यय में अक्षमता और असंतुलन हो सकता है।
चूंकि एमसीडी के चुनाव शीघ्र ही होने वाले हैं, इसलिए यह विवेकपूर्ण होगा कि राज्य चुनाव आयोग को मंजूरी दी जा सकती है कि केंद्र सरकार, संविधान के अनुच्छेद 239 एए में निहित प्रावधानों और संविधान या अन्य में उससे जुड़े अन्य प्रावधानों के अनुसार है। कानूनी स्थिति, दिल्ली के एनसीटी में मौजूद तीन नगर निगमों के पूर्वोक्त एकीकरण में लाने पर विचार कर रही है।
