सांसद रमेश कौशिक ने कहा कि यह प्लांट केन्द्र सरकार व राज्य सरकार का संयुक्त प्रोजेक्ट है। उन्होंने कहा कि सिविल अस्पताल में पहले भी एक प्लांट लगा हुआ है जिसकी प्रतिदिन 40 सिलेंडर क्षमता थी। अब यह प्लांट लग जाने से सिविल अस्पताल में 220 ऑक्सीजन सिलेंडर प्रतिदिन की क्षमता हो जाएगी। इससे सिविल अस्पताल में कोरोना मरीजों की ऑक्सीजन की पूर्ति बाधित नहीं होगी। कोराना महामारी में अस्पतालों में मरीजों को ऑक्सीजन की कमी से परेशानी न हो इसके लिए केन्द्र सरकार और प्रदेश सरकार के संयुक्त प्रोजेक्ट लगाया गया है।

कौशिक बताया कि इससे पहले सिविल अस्पताल द्वारा 180 ऑक्सीजन सिलेंडरों को बाहर से भरवाया जाता था। परंतु अब इस ऑक्सजीन प्लांट के लग जाने से कोविड वार्ड में दाखिल मरीजों के लिए अतिरिक्त ऑक्सीजन सिलेंडरों की उपलब्धत सुनिश्चित होगी। उन्होंने बताया कि इलेक्ट्रानिक व सिविल वर्क एनएचएआई द्वारा किया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि इस प्रकार के प्रोजेक्स 16 जिलों में लगाए जाएंगे। इस मौके पर स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीम मौजूद रही।
