नई दिल्ली: एक अध्ययन के अनुसार, पूरी तरह से टीका लगाए गए व्यक्तियों में SARS-CoV-2 संक्रमण के खिलाफ कोविशील्ड वैक्सीन की प्रभावशीलता दूसरी लहर के दौरान 63 प्रतिशत पाई गई। “द लैंसेट इंफेक्शियस डिजीज” पत्रिका में प्रकाशित अध्ययन के नतीजे बताते हैं कि मध्यम से गंभीर बीमारी के खिलाफ पूर्ण टीकाकरण की टीके की प्रभावशीलता 81 प्रतिशत से भी अधिक थी। टीके की दो खुराक की प्रभावशीलता का अनुमान लगाने के लिए, 2,379 पुष्ट मामलों और 1,981 स्वस्थ व्यक्तियों का विश्लेषण किया गया।
