उनका चुनाव लड़ने का कोई इरादा नहीं है। टिकैत ने राजनीतिक दलों को राजनीतिक होर्डिंग्स पर अपनी तस्वीरों का इस्तेमाल करने के खिलाफ भी चेतावनी दी है।
मेरठ : केंद्र सरकार के कृषि कानूनों केखिलाफ एक साल तक चला ये किसान आंदोलन अब समाप्त हो गया है। भारतीय किसान यूनियन के नेता राकेश टिकैत के नेतृत्व में गाजीपुर बॉर्डर पर डेरा डाले किसान अब घर लौट गए हैं। उनका चुनाव लड़ने का कोई इरादा नहीं है। टिकैत ने राजनीतिक दलों को राजनीतिक होर्डिंग्स पर अपनी तस्वीरों का इस्तेमाल करने के खिलाफ भी चेतावनी दी है।

टिकैत बुधवार की देर रात अपने गांव सिसौली में किसानों को संबोधित कर रहे थे, जहां वह 383 दिन के लंबे विरोध के बाद वापस लौटे। उन्होंने दोहराया कि किसानों के संघर्ष को सुनहरे अक्षरों में अंकित किया जाएगा। हमारा संघर्ष सुनहरे अक्षरों में लिखा जाएगा। मैं अंतिम सांस तक किसानों के हक की लड़ाई जारी रखूंगा।
रैली के दौरान तैकेत अपने समर्थकों के एक विशाल जुलूस के साथ सिसौली पहुंचा। उनकी वापसी और किसानों की जीत का जश्न मनाने के लिए मेरठ-मुजफ्फरनगर राजमार्ग पर हर चौराहे पर रैली में लड्डू बांटे गए. और गाजीपुर सीमा से मुजफ्फरनगर तक हर 25 किलोमीटर पर लंगर का आयोजन किया गया।
विरोध शुरू होने के बाद से टिकैत घर नहीं गया था
जाट कॉलोनी स्थित उनके घर में उनका स्वागत करने के लिए टिकैत की पत्नी सुनीता देवी ने सैकड़ों मिट्टी के दीये जलाए। “मेरे पति आज 383 दिनों के बाद घर लौट रहे हैं। उनके स्वागत के लिए जितना दीया होना चाहिए, उससे कम नहीं होगा। जैसे भगवान राम अयोध्या लौटे, वैसे ही मेरे राम भी आज घर आ रहे हैं।
