7056267530कांग्रेस नेता को सोमवार की तड़के हिरासत में लिया गया था, जब वह लखीमपुर खीरी में विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान एक एसयूवी की चपेट में आने से मारे गए किसानों के परिवारों से मिलने जा रही थीं। एसयूवी को केंद्रीय मंत्री अजय कुमार मिश्रा के बेटे चला रहे थे। यूपी के उपमुख्यमंत्री केशव प्रसाद मौर्य के दौरे से पहले लखीमपुर खीरी में किसानों के विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान हुई हिंसा में रविवार को आठ लोगों की मौत हो गई, जिसमें किसानों और भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं दोनों की जान चली गई।
मृतकों में चार कार सवार लोग थे, जो जाहिर तौर पर यूपी के मंत्री का स्वागत करने आए भाजपा कार्यकर्ताओं के काफिले का हिस्सा थे। भाजपा समर्थकों के काफिले की एक कार के किसानों के विरोध स्थल पर पलट जाने के बाद हिंसा भड़क गई थी, जिसमें प्रदर्शन कर रहे दो किसानों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई थी।
