लद्दाख/जीजेडी न्यूज: जम्मू-कश्मीर के लद्दाख क्षेत्र के तुरतुक सेक्टर में एक सड़क दुर्घटना में भारतीय सेना के कम से कम सात जवानों की जान चली गई। जिस वाहन से वे यात्रा कर रहे थे, उसके लद्दाख में श्योक नदी में गिरने से कई अन्य लोगों को दुर्घटना में गंभीर चोटें आईं। यह घटना उस समय हुई जब 26 सैनिकों का एक दल परतापुर ट्रांजिट कैंप से लेह जिले के तुरतुक में अग्रिम स्थान की ओर बढ़ रहा था।
थोइस से लगभग 25 किमी दूर, उन्हें ले जा रहा वाहन सड़क से फिसल गया और श्योक नदी में गिर गया (लगभग 50-60 फीट की गहराई तक), जिसके परिणामस्वरूप सभी लोग घायल हो गए।

बाद में, बाकी 19 घायल कर्मियों को हरियाणा के पंचकुला जिले के चंडीमंदिर में स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया।
पिछले महीने कश्मीर में शोपियां जिले में सेना के वाहन के पलट जाने से तीन जवानों की मौत हो गई थी और पांच अन्य घायल हो गए थे। वाहन बडीगाम गांव में एक मुठभेड़ स्थल के रास्ते में था।
