संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा के नेतृत्व में सोनीपत के कुंडली सिंघु बॉर्डर पर पिछले कई महीनों से किसान तीन कृषि कानूनों को रद्द करवाने की मांग को लेकर धरना प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। किसान नेता मनजीत राय के नेतृत्व में किसानों का एक दल बारिश से टूटी सड़कों तथा अन्य समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए पुलिस अधीक्षक और उपायुक्त से मिलकर समाधान के लिए आग्रह किया।

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री को लेकर किसान नेता मनजीत राय ने कहा कि अब उन्हें 14 से 15 महीने बाद याद आ रहा है कि पंजाब में आर्थिक नुकसान हो रहा है। पंजाब ने किसान टोल पर और रिलायंस के माल पर बैठे हैं, उसे पंजाब को क्या नुकसान हो रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह एक षड्यंत्र लग रहा है पहले आंदोलन को पंजाब से उठाओ फिर हरियाणा से उठाओ और फिर बोलेंगे दिल्ली में घुसने नहीं देंगे। उन्होंने साफ तौर से कहा कि अगर कैप्टन साहब में सत्ता की ताकत है तो वह किसानों को उठाकर दिखाइए जहां जहां भी धरने बैठे हुए हैं। वह तब तक नहीं उठेंगे जब तक सरकार किसानों की मांगों को पूर्ण नहीं करेगी।
किसानों का दल कुंडली सिंघु बॉर्डर पर जो किसान बैठे हुए हैं वहां पर किसानों को जो समस्याएं आ रही हैं कुछ सड़कों में गड्ढे बन चुके हैं बारिश के कारण रोड टूट चुके हैं और लोकल लोगों की समस्याएं हैं। इसी संदर्भ में बातचीत प्रशासन से करने के लिए आए हैं किसानों को विश्वास है कि प्रशासन समस्या का समाधान अवश्य करेगा। किसान नेता मनजीत सिंह ने कहा कि किसानों ने यह कानून नहीं मांगे थे जो रिपोर्ट मांग रहे हैं वह जाकर देश के प्रधानमंत्री से मिले और उनको कहे कि एमएसपी और कृषि कानूनों का समाधान करें यहां किसान अपनी मर्जी से नहीं बैठे हैं ।
