श्रीनगर और बांदीपोरा में तीन नागरिकों की गोली मारकर हत्या करने के ठीक दो दिन बाद, अज्ञात आतंकवादियों ने श्रीनगर के सफा कदल इलाके में एक स्कूल के प्रिंसिपल और शिक्षक की हत्या कर दी।
कश्मीर: श्रीनगर के ईदगाह इलाके के एक सरकारी स्कूल में गुरुवार को हुए आतंकी हमले में दो शिक्षकों की मौत हो गई, जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस ने इसकी जानकारी दी। एक पुलिस अधिकारी ने समाचार एजेंसी पीटीआई के हवाले से कहा, “सुबह करीब 11:15 बजे, श्रीनगर जिले के संगम ईदगाह में आतंकवादियों ने दो स्कूल शिक्षकों की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी।
उन्होंने बताया कि इलाके की घेराबंदी कर दी गई है और हमलावरों को पकड़ने के लिए तलाश शुरू कर दी गई है। इसके अलावा, आईएएनएस ने स्थानीय रिपोर्टों का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि एसएलए शिक्षकों में स्कूल की प्रिंसिपल सुपिंदर कौर और एक कश्मीरी पंडित शिक्षक दीपक चंद हैं।
