सियोल स्थित ‘कोरिया इंस्टीट्यूट फॉर नेशनल यूनिफिकेशन’ के एक वरिष्ठ विश्लेषक होंग मिन ने कहा कि किम का वजन कम होना बीमारी के संकेत के बजाय उनके स्वास्थ्य में सुधार का प्रयास लगता है। बहुत शराब पीने और धूम्रपान करने वाले किम के परिवार के कई सदस्य हृदय संबंधी बीमारियों से पीड़ित रहे हैं। उनके पिता और दादा की हृदय संबंधी समस्याओं के कारण मौत हुई थी। विशेषज्ञों ने कहा है कि किम का अधिक वजन हृदय रोगों की आशंका को बढ़ा सकता है।
सत्तारूढ़ वर्कर्स पार्टी के पहला सचिव पद बनाया
सियोल स्थित ‘इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ नॉर्थ कोरियन स्टडीज’ के सेओ यू-सोक ने कहा कि उत्तर कोरिया में हाल में सत्तारूढ़ वर्कर्स पार्टी के पहला सचिव पद बनाया है, जिस पर काबिज व्यक्ति देश में किम के बाद दूसरे नंबर होगा और इस पद का संबंध किम के स्वास्थ्य से जुड़ी संभावित समस्याओं से हो सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि किम ने भले ही शीर्ष अधिकारियों के आग्रह पर पद की स्थापना की अनुमति दी हो, लेकिन फिर भी उन्होंने किसी को नामित नहीं किया है, क्योंकि इससे सत्ता पर उनकी पकड़ ढीली हो सकती है।
