एसएस न्यूज.न्यूयॉर्क। आज पूरा विश्व कोरोना महामारी से झूझ रहा है। इसी बीच अमेरिका में आज कोरोनावायरस से मरने वालों के आंकड़े जारी किये है। अमेरिका में कोरोना से मरने वालों की संख्या 6 लाख के पार हो गई है। यह आंकड़े ऐसे वक्त सामने आए हैं जब देश में आक्रामक राष्ट्रव्यापी टीकाकरण अभियान से रोजाना मामलों में कमी आई है और देश ऐसी स्थिति में हैं जहां पहले की तरह ही लोग गर्मियों का आनंद उठाने और स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह मनाने की ओर अपना ध्यान केंद्रित कर रहे हैं। लेकिन रोजाना सैकड़ों लोगों की मौत हो रही है। अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति जो बाइडन चेतावनी दे रहे हैं कि अभी लड़ाई खत्म नहीं हुई है। उन्होंने ज्यादा से ज्यादा देशवासियों से टीका लगावाने की अपील की है। अमेरिका में वायरस से पहली ज्ञात मौतों को 16 महीने हो चुके हैं।

गत वर्ष मार्च की शुरूआत से चार महीनों के अंदर ही, 100,000 लोगों की मौत हो गयी थी। बाइडन के राष्ट्रपति के रूप में कार्यभार संभालने से पहले टोटल 400,000 तक पहुंच गया था। पिछली 2,00,000 मौतें बहुत धीमी गति से हुई हैं, क्योंकि मजबूत टीकाकरण तेजी से हो रहा था। रोग नियंत्रण और रोकथाम केंद्र (सीडीसी) के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, अब तक 50% से ज्यादा अमेरिकियों को कोविड -19 वैक्सीन का कम से कम एक शॉट मिल चुका है और 40% से ज्यादा का पूरी तरह से टीकाकरण हो चुका है। पर्यटकों के आकर्षण के केंद्रों पर भीड़ बढ़ रही है, व्यवसाय फिर से विश्वास के साथ खुल रहे हैं, मॉल भरे हुए हैं और लोग फिर से हाथ मिला रहे हैं।
