लगातार सड़क से लेकर संसद तक अहीर रेजिमेंट की मांग उठाते आए हैं। इतना ही नहीं आने वाले संसद सत्र में फिर इस मांग को उठाया जाएगा। यह संघर्ष तबतक जारी रहेगा जबतक सरकार सेना में अहीर रेजिमेंट का गठन नहीं कर देती। क्योंकि यह राजनीति का नहीं बल्कि देश की सुरक्षा और उसके लिए जान कुर्बान करने वाले शहीदों के सम्मान का विषय है।

चंडीगढ़: राज्यसभा सांसद दीपेन्द्र सिंह हुड्डा आज राज नायक राव तुलाराम जी की शहादत के प्रतीक हरियाणा वीर एवं शहीदी दिवस के मौके पर दिल्ली के जंतर-मंतर पहुंचे। यहां उन्होंने भारतीय सेना में अहीर रेजिमेंट की मांग को लेकर जारी धरने को अपने पूर्ण समर्थन का ऐलान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि वो लगातार सड़क से लेकर संसद तक अहीर रेजिमेंट की मांग उठाते आए हैं। इतना ही नहीं आने वाले संसद सत्र में फिर इस मांग को उठाया जाएगा। यह संघर्ष तबतक जारी रहेगा जबतक सरकार सेना में अहीर रेजिमेंट का गठन नहीं कर देती। क्योंकि यह राजनीति का नहीं बल्कि देश की सुरक्षा और उसके लिए जान कुर्बान करने वाले शहीदों के सम्मान का विषय है। भारतीय सेना में ‘अहीर रेजिमेंट’ का गठन शहीद यदुवंशी योद्धाओं को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि होगी।
अहीर लड़ाके दुश्मन की छाती पर चढ़कर ललकारे
दीपेंद्र हुड्डा ने कहा कि अहीर समाज और अहिरवाल इलाके ने देश के लिए जो कुर्बानियां दीं, उन्हें कभी भुलाया नहीं जा सकता। 1857 में आजादी के संघर्ष से लेकर आजादी के बाद तक के युद्धों में हर बार अहीर लड़ाके दुश्मन की छाती पर चढ़कर ललकारे हैं। 1962 की लड़ाई के दौरान रेजांग-ला में सिर्फ 120 अहीर सैनिकों ने 5000 चीनी सैनिकों के खिलाफ जिस शौर्य का परिचय दिया, वो दुनिया के सैनिक इतिहास की शौर्य गाथाओं में दर्ज है। इन सैनिकों ने चुशुल एयरपोर्ट को दुश्मन के कब्जे से बचाने के लिए अपना जीवन बलिदान कर दिया। जनभावनाओं और अहीर समाज की कुर्बानियों का सम्मान करते हुए सरकार को यह मांग माननी चाहिए।
अहीर रेजिमेंट के गठन की मांग
इससे पहले संसद में दीपेन्द्र हुड्डा ने पुरजोर तरीके से अहीर रेजिमेंट के गठन की मांग उठाई थी। सांसद दीपेंद्र ने कहा कि अहीरवाल उनका अपना इलाका है। वो इस बात के गवाह हैं कि ऐसा कोई महीना नहीं बीतता होगा जब देश की सीमाओं से अहीरवाल इलाके में शहीदों के शव न आते हों। दिल्ली के डाबर क्षेत्र और दक्षिणी हरियाणा से लेकर पूर्व उत्तरी राजस्थान तक फैले अहीरवाल क्षेत्र के कोने-कोने में ‘जय जवान, जय किसान’ का नारा गूंजता है।
अहीर क्रांतिकारियों ने ब्रिटिश शासन की जड़े हिलाने का काम किया
इतिहास गवाह है कि 1398 में दुर्जन साल सिंह व जगराम सिंह जैसे योद्धाओं ने वीरता के साथ तैमूर के आक्रमण का सामना किया। 1739 में नादिर शाह के आक्रमण के समय रेवाड़ी नरेश राव बाल किशन के नेतृत्व में 5000 अहीर वीरों ने अपनी सीमाओं की रक्षा करते हुए बलिदान दिया। मातृभूमि के लिए मर मिटने का एक और उदहारण 1857 की क्रांति में देखने को मिला जब अहीरवाल नरेश राव तुलाराम जी और अहीर क्रांतिकारियों ने ब्रिटिश शासन की जड़े हिलाने का काम किया।
