भाजपा नेता एवं पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार राजीव जैन ने कहा कि न्यू महावीर कालोनी में स्थापित सार्वजनिक चबूतरे को टूटने नहीं दिया जाएगा। कालोनी में अवैध कब्जा कार्यवाही भी नहीं होने दंेगे। निजी अथवा सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर अवैध कब्जा किसी भी रूप में उचित नहीं है।

न्यू महावीर कालोनी वासियों ने चबूतरे वाली गली में सार्वजनिक चबूतरे को तोडऩे प्रयासों के खिलाफ आवाज बुलंद करते हुए पूर्व मीडिया सलाहकार को ज्ञापन सौंपा। उन्होंने मांग की है कि चबूतरा तोड़ने की कार्रवाई न होने दी जाए। कालोनी वासियों के आह्वान पर वरिष्ठ भाजपाई नेता राजीव जैन मौके पर पहुंचे और उन्होंने विश्वास दिलाया कि चबूतरा तोड़ने की कार्रवाई नहीं होने दी जाएगी। इसके लिए कालोनी वासियों ने उनका आभार व्यक्त किया। नई महावीर कालोनी में एक जमीन 18 व्यक्तियों के नाम है, जिसमें एक टुकड़े को पंचायती रखा गया था। किंतु इस टुकड़े पर एक व्यक्ति ने अपना रास्ता बनाकर छज्जा निकाल लिया है। अब वह कब्जाधारी कुछ अन्य लोगों के साथ मिलकर चबूतरे पर भी अवैध कब्जा कर सामने वालों का रास्ता बंद करना चाहते हैं।
