बल्लभगढ़ उपमंडल के गांव सागरपुर में बुधवार को एक महिला को तेंदुआ ने हमला कर घायल कर दिया है। इस घटना के बाद लोगों में दहशत फैल गई है। यह तेंदुआ एक बार सीसीटीवी में भी कैद हो चुका है। प्रारंभिक सूचना के अनुसार सागरपुर गांव में ऊधम सिंह नाम की पत्नी पप्पी के साथ हुई। ऊधम सिंह सागरपुर में प्याला रोड पर भट्टों के पास परिवार के साथ रहता है। उसकी पत्नी खेतों में गई हुई थी। तभी एक तेंदुआ ने उस पर हमला कर दिया। तेंदुआ के हमले से अचानक वह घबरा गई। उसने बचने के लिए हाथ-पैर मारे। महिला के हाथों पर पंजों के निशान हैं। इस बीच महिला ने शोर मचा दिया, तो खेतों में मौजूद अन्य लोग उस ओर दौड़ पड़े। अन्य लोगों के शोर-शराबे के बीच तेंदुआ भाग गया। इस घटना के बाद लोगों में दहशत का माहौल है।
भाजपा नेता हुकुम सिंह भाटी का कहना है कि अगर इस तेंदुआ को नहीं पकड़ा गया, तो यह कोई दुखद घटना को अंजाम दे सकता है। ग्रामीणों ने वन्य एवं जीव विभाग को सूचित कर दिया है। उल्लेखनीय है कि इससे पहले तेंदुओ दो बार निकटवर्ती गांव जाजरू में भी दिख चुका है। ग्रामीणों का अनुमान है। जाजरू और सागर पुर के जंगल मिले हुए हैं। इसलिए वही तेंदुआ विचरण करते हुए सागरपुर पहुंच गया होगा। सूत्रों के अनुसार 20 अगस्त गांव जाजरू स्थित एनटीपीसी के सोलर प्लांट की दीवार पर लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों में देर रात दो जानवर घूमते हुए दिखाई दिए। देखने में ये तेंदुए जैसे लग रहे हैं। इनका सीसीटीवी फुटेज भी मिला है। फुटेज थोड़ी दूर से बनी हुई है, इसलिए ये कौन से जानवर थे, स्पष्ट नहीं हो सका है। इनके दिखने पर कंपनी के लोगों ने गांव के सरपंच व सीकरी पुलिस को सूचना दी। गांव में लोगों से अपील की गई है कि वे रात में अकेले जंगलों की तरफ ना जाएं और पशुओं को बाड़ या चारदीवारी की जगहों पर ही बांधें।
गांव जाजरू के सरपंच प्रेम डागर ने बताया कि सीसीटीवी फुटेज में दो तेंदुए नजर आए हैं। इसकी सूचना वाइल्ड लाइफ अधिकारियों को दी गई। सुबह करीब दस बजे वन्य जीव संरक्षण विभाग के अधिकारी गांव में पहुंचे और क्षेत्र का निरीक्षण किया। एनटीपीसी प्लांट के आसपास की कई जगहों को चेक किया, लेकिन उन्हें कहीं भी तेंदुए के पंजों के निशान नहीं मिले।सीकरी पुलिस चौकी प्रभारी देवदत्त भी अपनी टीम के साथ गांव में पहुंचे। करीब तीन घंटे निरीक्षण के बाद वन्य अधिकारी और पुलिसकर्मी गांव से वापस आ गए। एहतियात के तौर पर गांव के लोगों से अकेले जंगल की तरफ न जाने की अपील की गई है।
